The myth of the peaceful protester

These are not peaceful protesters

The mainstream propaganda outlets have made much of the supposed injustice of the forces of law and order exercising violent repression on so called “peaceful protesters”.  This is done to de-legitimize the police, the national guard and the authority of the State.  An excellent example is provided by the coverage of the eviction of protesters from around the White House last week: “Live updates: Trump poses for photos at church after police force out protesters; demonstrations intensify overnight.

Whatever else these people may be they are NOT peaceful protesters.  Peaceful protesters do exist as for example at a sit-in where participants sit around in a circle singing Kumbaya, a Tea Party demonstration or a group praying the rosary outside an abortion clinic.  These are characterized by a vocal but passive transmission of their message as opposed to an active, threatening confrontation.

Civilizations foster peace among the members of their societies; the widespread absence of peace is an indicator of weakness of a society and a harbinger of its demise.  The current spate of Well Organized Spontaneous Demonstrations (TM) kicked off by the death of George Floyd are both an indication of the decline of American civilization and an accelerant of that decline.

Every culture has misfits which are more or less handled by the social conventions of that society by public censure, incarceration, exile or execution.  When organized groups arise and are not quashed by the culture, then that culture has a potentially fatal problem, a revolution in the making.

Houston, we have a problem.

Unsurprisingly little remarked in the mainstream media is how widespread the ideological underpinnings of the protesters has become in our culture.  Unsurprising because you would not expect the these organs which serve as disseminators of subversive agitprop to alarm the nation by pointing out that the ideological infection of Marx and Lenin are at epidemic levels and rising.  There is in America today a large and growing revolutionary counter culture that advocates a violent overthrow of our Constitutional government and of Western civilization entirely.

Yes, we have known for years that the Democrat Party has long since become a wholly owned subsidiary of Communism International.  Yes, we know that the entertainment industry has spread subversion of morals everywhere.   Yes, we know that Socialist ideology has permeated our educational system.  Yes, we know that the Deep State is infested with these creatures.  Now we are beginning – just beginning! – to see fruits of allowing this wickedness to burrow among us and fester largely unchecked.

Your humble correspondent does business out of an office in Highland Park in N.E. Los Angeles.  I was shocked to see the number of predominantly Hispanic BLM demonstrators that came out of the surrounding residential neighborhoods.  I had known that there were a few radicals and Bernie supporters back there, but when they came out on foot by ones and twos, and dozens and scores to aggregate in their thousands I realized that the crisis was upon us all.

These local protesters turned out to be peaceful in fact; they did not see the need to burn down their own neighborhood to prove their point.  At one point they formed a caravan and went off to who knows where to protest.  What was their behavior like there?

Besides their number there is one other thing that surprised me, though it shouldn’t have, their coordination.  They all knew when and where they were to gather.  Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat and others, are their means of communication; free, universal and short of turning off the internet, virtually unstoppable.  They have been networking on social media, and now are networking face to face as they put into practice what they have no doubt been discussing among themselves.  But there are other, more sinister means of communication over the internet.

One of them is, a website promoting left wing radicalism and anarchy.  These people are ‘way out in left field, and sound just like the radical leftists of the 1960’s, these people are young, fanatical  and dangerous.  The website, which claims to have been around for 20 years, offers a wealth of useful information for anarchists, which is what they call themselves here.  There is an online store offering bulk propaganda materials and well as an extensive online library covering such topics as Current Events, Strategy and Analysis, Theory and Critique, History, How To, Arts, Narratives and Classics.  One of the categories is Adventure; guaranteed a whole hell of a lot more exciting than what you’ll find in the schools.  What makes this so deadly attractive for young people is that it offers a higher purpose for their lives than the pursuit of sexual hedonism, drug addiction or a lifetime paying off student loans for that worthless degree in Bitter Victim Studies.

One of the recently posted stories is from a participant in the Minneapolis riots offers his fellow anarchists some cogent tactical observations and analysis of the action.   Summary of the article over at Vox Day, worth the read just to know your enemy.

Peaceful Protestors

The non-violent tactics of peaceful protesters served two familiar aims and one unusual one:

  • They created a spectacle of legitimacy, which was intensified as police violence escalated.
  • They created a front line that blocked police attempts to advance when they deployed outside of the Precinct.
  • In addition, in an unexpected turn of affairs, the peaceful protestors shielded those who employed projectiles.

Whenever the police threatened tear gas or rubber bullets, non-violent protesters lined up at the front with their hands up in the air, chanting “Hands up, don’t shoot!” Sometimes they kneeled, but typically only during relative lulls in the action. When the cops deployed outside the Precincts, their police lines frequently found themselves facing a line of “non-violent” protestors. This had the effect of temporarily stabilizing the space of conflict and gave other crowd members a stationary target. While some peaceful protestors angrily commanded people to stop throwing things, they were few and grew quiet as the day wore on. This was most likely because the police were targeting people who threw things with rubber bullets early on in the conflict, which enraged the crowd. It’s worth noting that the reverse has often been the case—we are used to seeing more confrontational tactics used to shield those practicing non-violence (e.g., at Standing Rock and Charlottesville). The reversal of this relationship in Minneapolis afforded greater autonomy to those employing confrontational tactics.

What is immediately clear is that these “peaceful protesters” are nothing of the sort.  They are aggressive and confrontational.  Even while forming a static barrier with their bodies they shield those who are more violent and when the opportunity is presented become actively violent themselves.  Beyond that, acts of vandalism and looting are hardly what can be called peaceful, there is nothing peaceful about destruction, theft, assault and arson.

Further, it is one thing to protest an injustice to attempt to reform a system, it is quite another to use a protest movement as cover to undermine and destroy a nation.  And that, by their own admission, is the goal of Antifa, Black Lives Matter and the Anarchists, all of them serving to wreck our Constitutional Republic and replace it with a totalitarian, collectivist form of government.  They want a revolution, nothing less.  Of course these young “not-a-bit-peaceful” activists are nothing more than puppets, useful idiots in unwitting service to the same hidden masters as pull the strings of the agitprop spewing  talking heads in the media.

As Patriots is is our duty to do our bit to stymie the violent revolution brewing in our midst.  No, we don’t need to go man the barricades shoulder to shoulder with the police.  What we must to is actively counter the false narratives promulgated by the revolutionaries and their allies.  This means that we need to call out the lies of the media.  No need to get into a screaming match with the people who are simply being fashionably congruent by repeating the left’s talking points.  But we can ask questions.

“Excuse me, what is peaceful about throwing things at the police?”  “Would you still think they were peaceful of they looted and burned your business?”  “Can you explain to me how arson is peaceful?”  “If only black lives matter, does your life matter?  What about mine?”

It also helps to have some facts on call.  “No, the police are not all brutal racists who spend their time on the job hunting down and killing unarmed blacks.  The police shot 14 unarmed blacks in 2019.  They also shot 25 unarmed whites.  We all know the names of some unarmed blacks that were killed, Trayvon Martin, George Floyd.  Do you know the names of any of the whites recently killed by police?  How come you aren’t protesting their deaths?”  Some of them are really pretty bad.  We do need reforms in the law enforcement and justice system, but abolishing them is not the answer.

Meanwhile, stay away from crowds.

Still they lie to us and still we believe them – shame on us

I am posting without change the observations of Karl Denninger at his Market Ticker blog.  He has been all over this Wuhan Flu pandemic from the beginning, I have frequently quoted him before on this issue.  He is a great researcher, knows science and understands statistical math and how to use it.  He is unbiased in that he pretty much despises both the Democrat and Republican Parties equally.  I give you his thought below complete and unedited.  It is based largely on this that I based my own conclusions.  Here’s Karl:

Putting Facts Together: What They WON’T Do

None of this is in dispute; if you have an argument to make with any of these alleged facts let’s hear it in the comments, with your data source.

  • As many as half, and in some states as many as 80%, of people who have died from Covid-19 were nursing home or other long-term-care home residents.
  • Black people have a higher fatality rate for the virus than white people.  Various commentators have attempted to explain this as a race-based difference in health care access, although no such evidence actually exists (e.g. in KY, where the Governor has announced an explicitly racist and thus unconstitutional program to “cover all black people” with health insurance — a program based on ethnicity and thus constitutionally impermissible.)  However, black people also have a higher attack rate than whites, which cannot be explained by any alleged difference in health-care access.  Obviously, if you are attacked at a higher rate given the same percentage of bad outcomes more of that group on a numerical basis will have bad outcomes.
  • Meat-packing plant workers have a materially higher attack rate than non meat-packing workers.  Said workers are also over-represented, by a lot, among Hispanics.
  • Said meat-packing plant and other agricultural workers, however, have a lower fatality (bad outcome) rate than among the general population in places such as New York.  And not by a little either — by a factor of 10 or more.  That’s well beyond statistical significance.  Indeed the CFR among these groups are in the low tenths of one percent.  That’s in the realm of ordinary seasonal flu.
  • Japan controlled their outbreak without lockdowns.  People like to point to “mask-wearing” but are ignoring the 900lb Gorilla in the room when it comes to Japan and South Korea — about 3/4 of all homes have bidets.  The percentage of homes in the US with a bidet is an effective zero.  (I have one and like it; among other things it dramatically reduces the use of TP, so my one roll of consumption is your three or five rolls!)  Use of a bidet, however, absolutely reduces the amount of feces contact with a toilet user’s hands by a huge factor — probably to 1/100th or less than a user of a toilet without one, since it washes nearly all of the feces off your butthole and into the toilet before you get off the pot.  This dramatically reduces the risk of fecal:oral transmission of any bug at the source and thus should be expected to dramatically reduces infection rates.

  • South Korea controlled their hospital transmission without extreme PPE measures. Their solution?  Militant hand-washing in health care facilities; before entry to and at exit of every room and after contact with any potentially-contaminated person or surface.  That step alone cut the transmission to health care workers to nearly zero.  This was known in March.  We are still seeing crazy-high transmission in health-care workers in the United States, especially in nursing homes and other care facilities (ITC homes for disabled people, etc.) in the United States and we have not instituted said militant hand-washing standards here.
  • Homeless people appeared at first to not get the virus at all.  This made absolutely no sense and I talked about it at the time as a major confounding piece of data; I could not explain the apparent lack of infections.  Subsequently, serology and mass-testing of shelters later proved that in fact damn near all of said people tested were in fact positive for either antibodies or the virus itself, meaning virtually all of them either had it or have had it.  We originally thought they didn’t get it because they didn’t get sick!  But they sure did get the virus — they just didn’t get sick enough from it to require medical attention.  I note that “getting the virus” but not getting sick is good, not bad.  In fact it’s very good not just for you but for everyone around you; provided you get some amount of immunity out of that the benefit to the general public is considerable.  Among said homeless people nearly zero of them have died of Covid-19.

  • Prison populations continue to report extremely high attack rates and yet again post near-zero serious case and fatality rates.  Note that prisons and jails universally have the toilet in the cell and thus fecal/oral contamination via surface contact is going to be extremely easy with no possible way to control it.  We keep seeing huge “bursts” of reported cases in various states which are prisoner test batches that show up all at once — yet what we don’t see are prisoners dropping dead or ending up in the ICU with the bug.  Note that incarcerated individuals are materially more likely than the general population to have lived an extraordinarily unhealthy lifestyle prior to incarceration, including drug and alcohol abuse.  Therefore you would expect them to have much higher mortality statistics from Covid-19 than the general population but this has yet to occur on a systematic basis in the United States.
  • Native Americans appear to have extremely high attack, severe disease and death rates.  Arizona is the poster child for this problem but is by no means alone; they just happen to have entire counties where a huge percentage of the population is Native American due to the presence of large reservation areas within same.  The net-positive test rate among NE Arizona counties in particular is astounding on a comparative basis.
  • Protesters don’t get it either despite ignoring “social distancing” writ large and often or even usually ignoring masks too.  Never mind that if you’re gassed by the cops you cough like a son-of-a-bitch so if you have anything now so does everyone within 20′ of you.  The transmission rate should be much higher than the statistical average for everyone in the state if gathering together in close contact for hours at a time without masks transmitted the bug.  The data says it does not; their positive rate of 1.4% is less than half the index rate (average) of 3.7% in the state of Minnesota.
  • Delaying infection does not prevent it.  Remember that flattening the curve mantra?  That’s delay.  The area under the curve (number of infections) remains the same but is simply spread out over more time.  Now suddenly that people are still getting infected results in screaming when this was not only a known outcome it was the expected outcome.  Has the collective IQ of Americans dropped below their shoe size?  It appears the answer is a resounding YES!

Note that exactly nobody pressing the racissssssss! screaming is accounting for any of this.  Until and unless we cut the crap with that intentional suppression of logical analysis we shall never get to the facts.  There are very important epidemiological facts in this data and in fact there are likely pathways to suppression of severe outcomes from Covid-19 to below the nuisance level found therein.

Exactly where they lead and how you get there isn’t yet known but a number of hypothesis are all reasonable given this set of facts and if we are going to actually make progress with this or any other disease we must look at said facts dispassionately, especially where you have high attack rates in what you would expect are seriously-compromised and high-risk population segments and yet those cases occur with few to nearly-zero severe or fatal outcomes.

Remember that HIV was treated in exactly the same sort of “social justice” fashion and we shoved a half-million Americans in the hole as a result.  Almost-certainly at least half of those people did not need to and should not have died.  They died because we refused to analyze the data we had and go where it led us, instead “protecting” those who claimed that butt****ing was not only a civil right but also that nothing which called into question the dangers of doing so was to be admitted into public discussion and debate.

Ok, so what hypothesis can we form?

  • Attack rate is highly-correlated with housing density in a given unit of housing.  That we now know and it explains the higher black attack rate, the higher meat-packing employee attack rate, the higher nursing/LTC home attack rate, the higher reservation attack rate and the higher homeless shelter attack rate.  It also explains the higher attack rate in places such as Wuhan China even though I believe exactly zero of what was reported out of the Chinese without hard, independent proof.  All those populations have much higher housing densities than the average white American household.
  • Adding a bidet that goes on a toilet at the mounting point for the seat costs about $50.  Adding one to every American home and apartment could have been done for a billion dollars, roughly, and likely would have cut transmission rates by a monstrous amount at less than a thousandth of the cost of the economic damage we have incurred.
  • The lack of indoor plumbing and sanitation massively correlates with attack rate.  Witness the NE corner of Arizona; many reservation dwellings have no septic system or running water.  How do you wash your hands with soap and water without running water?  How do you remove feces from your hands after defecating?
  • Close contact, with or without masks and even in large groups where you are in such a group for hours at a time, but where personal hand-to-hand or hand-to-object-to-hand contact does not occur does not, statistically, appear to transmit the virus as the correlation with the protests is inverted.  This is not a singular event either; remember that despite tens or even hundreds of thousands of spring break revelers partying in Florida in March the total number of cases traced to same numbered five.  Remember that while correlation does not prove causation the lack of correlation reliably excludes a causal relationship.  So much for continuing to ban large groups (e.g. sports fans, political rallies, etc.), limiting capacity in theme parks, restaurants, bars, etc. — and requiring masks for the general public in any circumstance.
  • At the same time the places where groups of cases have occurred all correlate with the potential for fecal:oral spread.  There is a just-reported set of cases linked to a Jacksonville bar in Florida.  How is their hand-washing protocol in that place?  It just takes one bartender who used the bathroom, didn’t wash his or her hands, and then handled all the glasses served to those individuals while filling them.  The same is true for the communal transmission reported earlier among a family that had a large gathering where shared dishes were served and at the church in South Korea with a symptomatic individual which practiced close, personal hand-based contact.  At the same time groups of hundreds of thousands “protesting” in close proximity, in fact at “personal contact” distance for hours at a time don’t get it.  This is very solid evidence that it is manual transmission via the hands, likely fecal:oral — and not airborne — that is occurring.  In short: WASH YOUR DAMN HANDS AND NO, HAND SANITIZER IS NOT AN ADEQUATE REPLACEMENT.
  • Severity of outcome is very highly correlated with (1) obesity, (2) diabetes, and (3) the use of ACE/ARB modulating pharmaceuticals to control various morbidity factors.  The latter was attempted to be “disproved” by a now-withdrawn study that was shown to have possibly-intentionally corrupted data.  Note that among homeless people you have a lack of all three yet you also have rampant alcoholism, which one would expect to lead to very severe compromise and bad outcomes — but the data says it doesn’t.  Native Americans are also notorious for severe alcohol abuse which would lead one to believe there’s a correlation there but the extremely high prevalence of same among homeless people who have almost zero severe Covid outcomes argues strongly against that being a co-factor in severity of result.
  • Age is not, standing alone, a material mortality factor in this disease.  New York’s death data proves this; there is no specific correlation with age to death rate.  A shockingly-low number of New Yorkers of seriously advanced age without any of the listed morbidity factors have died.  It’s not being old that gets you — it’s being unhealthy in specific, discernable ways.

  • Attack rate is very highly correlated with the likelihood of fecal/oral transmission vectors being in play.  Nursing homes have an extraordinary prevalence of incontinent individuals in them and avoiding cross-contamination when someone has a diaper on is extremely difficult.  The more people in a given housing unit the harder this is to control as well, and the presence of high-pressure institutional style toilets radically raises the risk of expulsion of fecal matter onto both surfaces and into the air.  Lids do not stop the former, in fact they concentrate it.  We knew this was likely at-issue early on in that protocols in Asian hospitals were changed very quickly to require assiduous hand-washing routines and as soon as that was implemented cross-transmission to and between health care workers went to an effective zero, even without masks!  This also explains how Japan was able to control their outbreak without shutting the economy down — most of their private homes have bidets which dramatically reduce the risk of fecal/oral transmission in private homes by materially reducing the amount of feces a person’s hands can come into contact with.
  • There are no long-term care or nursing home facilities and damn few hospital beds or units that can, today, in their present configurations, control for the transmission risk of a highly-mobile fecal/oral bug, especially if the focus remains on “masks and gloves” instead of the manual removal of potential contamination from one’s hands after any and all contact with any item or person that might be contaminated.  Again, we knew this in MARCH and have completely ignored it.  The willful and intentional failure to address this protocol is negligent homicide by the tens of thousands of counts.  There is not one governor nor health director in any of the 50 states who has addressed this fact nor have any been held accountable.
  • The fact that homeless people get this virus on a nearly-universal basis yet almost none of them get seriously ill or die of it is extremely powerful data.  In fact, within that, plus the prison population and meat-packing house data, is likely a key to exactly why, statistically, people get severe cases of this bug rather than benign ones and ultimately expire from it.  This is especially true when one considers that both prisoners and homeless people have a much-higher than general population prevalence of seriously-unhealthy behaviors including most-specifically alcoholism and serious drug abuse, both of which are severely immunosuppressive.

Through all of this we can find truth — if we care to.

We don’t care to.

We won’t hold NY accountable, for example, for obvious intentional medical homicide in that they have one quarter of the deaths in America from Covid-19 but only six percent of the population of the country.  That’s a 400% over-representation and is flat-out outrageous.  We know, for example, the state forced Covid+ persons into nursing homes; that’s not an accident, it’s intentional.  And there are allegations that NY intentionally left potentially or known-Covid+ patients outside of isolated areas in hospitals. Britain, by the way, has admitted that 20% of their infections were nosocomial — given to people by the hospital.  What’s our percentage and why isn’t that reported?  Exactly zero of those infections and deaths are acceptable nor can they be charged to the “virulence” of the virus; by definition those are medical incompetence at best and manslaughter at worst.

There is in fact a pretty-clean argument to be made that bolting the door of every hospital instead of admitting potential Covid suffers might well have resulted in less death!  Think about that for a minute: There is a clean argument to be made that our medical system resulted in a net positive change in the death rate from this virus; we would have been better off in terms of dead bodies to tell people to go pound sand and tough it out at home!

We have not, several months in, stopped transmission in and through nursing homes and other long-term and intermediate care facilities.  Every single state still has a problem in this regard.  The number of transmissions in and between nursing home (and other residential care facility) residents and staff at this point should be a statistical zero yet it is not in any state.  This is hard evidence that the overhwelming focus on mask-based PPE is and will remain ineffective.  Anywhere from a third to a half of all who have died of this bug were in such homes yet an effective zero of them could have contracted the virus in the community at-large since they don’t leave said homes and, since the lockdowns in said places started months ago haven’t been close enough to others to get the virus via personal contact with other residents; their care-givers had to be either direct or indirect vectors!

We won’t take the data we have, which is that handwashing is a massive deterrent to transmission while masks out in public do little or nothing and, rather than demand “masks” in public places instead put hand-washing stations, with soap and water, outside businesses and public buildings and become absolute “nazi-like” when it comes to handwashing where personal service from one-to-many is common such as restaurant and bar staff.  We also won’t do the same thing in hospitals and other care facilities.  Yet we know masks (especially when not worn properly and in combination with excellent hand hygiene, which the general public does not practice) are not a barrier to transmission but hand-washing is, and we knew this in March after a South Korean hospital stopped transmission to their staff, even when not masked, by mandating manual handwashing with soap and water before entry and exit to every patient room and after contact with any potentially-contaminated surface.  Prior that they had a huge problem despite the use of PPE, yet upon instituting that protocol their staff transmission dropped to a statistical zero.

We have a second, confirmatory data point on fecal/oral transmission from Japan which controlled their outbreak without material lockdowns of any sort and has a very high prevalence of bidet presence in private homes (~75%.)  The use of a bidet removes virtually all feces from your butthole and thus reduces by an enormous factor the potential viral transmission load from one person to another via that route.  Given the essentially “kissing” level of contact found on Japanese mass-transit (rendering a mask useless) and the same level of personal contact found in many of the recent “protests” this is further evidence that the primary means of community spread is manual, not droplet-aerosol based.  Note that South Korea, where bidets are also common, confirms this.

And finally, also adding a lot of weight to the fecal/oral transmission route as being primary, we have data from the protests now coming in that large groups congregating for hours at a time in close contact, but generally not exchanging hand-to-hand or hand-object-hand contact, does not result in transmission occurring irrespective of masks.

We have a lot of data, at this point, that strongly points to why some people get very sick, some people get nothing, and why some people get exposed but never build antibodies.  Specifically, there is also obvious cross-immunity to this bug but we don’t know what it sources from.  That is the only logical reason why someone who is exposed and gets the bug, as proved by PCR test, would not develop an antibody response; the only way your body eliminates a virus is through antibody response, so if you don’t build specific antibodies the only other rational explanation is that you have cross-resistance.

We have a medical system, in short, that is hell-bent and determined to find ways to make money off this disease rather than focusing on how to make people not die and we have a media that is complicit in lying about the facts and points of correlation (which suggest but do not prove causation) and the places where correlation is expected under their hypothesis but is absent, which unlike correlation does in nearly every instance DISPROVE the suspected causal factor.

Again: Correlation does not prove causation but lack of correlation DOES, in nearly every case, DISPROVE causation.  This is one of the first things you learn about in regard to statistical analysis; that which does not correlate should not be, absent hard, scientific proof, viewed as a potential causal factor.

Exactly as with HIV/AIDS they have adopted a model that increases the number of people shoveled into the hole so more money is made instead of figuring out how, at zero or very little cost, to contain and prevent transmission and under what circumstances people get it and have a severe or fatal outcome as opposed to a minor inconvenience as is the case with a common cold.

The evidence strongly suggests that the reason for the difference in outcome is both a function of cross-immunity and may, to a large degree, rest in both personal choice linked co-morbidities and commonly-prescribed and used medical interventions that are “believed to be safe” but in fact seriously potentiate infections with this virus.  The latter is strongly suggested by the data — not proved, mind you, but very strongly suggested and in addition the modality of that threat matches up exactly with what we know about how this virus attacks the body.  Instead of running that to the ground as a public priority we instead had a study run with contaminated data that tried to discredit that which implies that scienter exists among the pharmaceutical and medical industries!  In other words, the evidence suggests they know damn well those drugs are killing people in the context of this bug and tried to cover it up.  That this didn’t trigger an immediate investigation at all levels of the government and regulatory apparatus is an outrage.

I’ve been reporting on this since February, I nailed this vector as likely at the root of transmission in February and I’ve yet to see a single bit of evidence that the hypotheses that I have put forward on same, backed by the data as available at the time, has been wrong.  Then again actually resolving the issue neither makes anyone rich nor does it give you a convenient political sword to run your opponents through with, does it?

Wake up America.

They are going for all the marbles

Antifa is the new Ku Klux Klan, the terrorist arm of the Democrat party.  Back in the day the Klan wore white and terrorized Blacks, today Antifa wears black and terrorizes Whites.  They are an international cadre of well organized, well trained and well funded terrorists whose goal is the utter destruction of America and, ultimately, Western Civilization.  They claim to oppose Fascism, but in fact they are Communists.  They intend to impose on us a dictatorship which sounds much like what Pol Pot imposed on the poor Cambodian people.  Antifa, and their masters and allies, are Communist revolutionaries and their intent is nothing less than to have a successful Communist Revolution in the USA.

Now that so many Progressive Mayors and Governors are either antagonizing their police forces or standing them down “peaceful” protesters will get the message that the rules regarding moral and ethical behavior are relaxed there will be no consequences for bad behavior the situation will only get worse.  Suddenly the never ending push to disarm the citizenry makes more sense.  With the police largely out of the picture the ordinary citizen is forced to fall back on his own resources which would have been, ideally for the revolutionaries, none.  Fortunately that initiative failed, and failed spectacularly.  Immaculate Barry, whose eight year reign was scandal free (in a pig’s eye!), turned out to be the greatest gun salesman that ever lived.

Despite the setbacks the revolutionaries’ plans advance in accord with the script so often used before.  Neon Revolt makes the connection:

We’re now in the midst of a full-blown Soros-backed Color Revolution in America.

What do I mean by that?

Well, for those unfamiliar, Soros has been in the business of disrupting governments and nations for some time now. There have been a number of color revolutions around the world, and many of them have been both directly and indirectly funded by George Soros – which means, they’ve been funded by taxpayer dollars.

Franklin Foer is a Progressive and much approves of these measures.  Even so, being a closet Marxist at heart he has to lie.of The Atlantic does the analysis for us:

What the United States is witnessing is less like the chaos of 1968, which further divided a nation, and more like the nonviolent movements that earned broad societal support in places such as Serbia, Ukraine, and Tunisia, and swept away the dictatorial likes of Milošević, Yanukovych, and Ben Ali.

And although Trump’s time in office will end with an election and not an ouster, it is only possible to grasp the magnitude of what we’re seeing and to map what comes next by looking to these antecedents from abroad.

As in the case of many such revolutions, two battles are being waged in America. One is a long struggle against a brutal and repressive ideology. The other is a narrower fight over the fate of a particular leader. The president rose to power by inflaming racial tensions. He now finds his own fate enmeshed in the struggle against police brutality and racism.

The most important theorist of nonviolent revolutions is the late political scientist Gene Sharp. A conscientious objector during the Korean War who spent nine months in prison, Sharp became a close student of Mahatma Gandhi’s struggles. His work set out to extract the lessons of the Indian revolt against the British. He wanted to understand the weaknesses of authoritarian regimes—and how nonviolent movements could exploit them. Sharp distilled what he learned into a 93-page handbook, From Dictatorship to Democracy, a how-to guide for toppling autocracy.

Sharp’s foundational insight is embedded in an aphorism: “Obedience is at the heart of political power.” A dictator doesn’t maintain power on his own; he relies on individuals and institutions to carry out his orders. A successful democratic revolution prods these enablers to stop obeying. It makes them ashamed of their complicity and fearful of the social and economic costs of continued collaboration.

Sharp posited that revolutionaries should focus first on the regime’s softest underbelly: the media, the business elites, and the police. The allegiance of individuals in the outer circle of power is thin and rooted in fear. By standing strong in the face of armed suppression, protesters can supply examples of courage that inspire functionaries to stop carrying out orders, or as Sharp put it, to “withhold cooperation.” Each instance of resistance provides the model for further resistance. As the isolation of the dictators grows—as the inner circles of power join the outer circle in withholding cooperation—the regime crumbles.

This is essentially what transpired in Ukraine in 2014. When the country’s president backed away from plans to join the European Union, a crowd amassed in Kyiv’s central square, the Maidan. The throngs initially had no avowed intention or realistic hope of overthrowing the kleptocratic president, Viktor Yanukovych. But instead of letting the demonstrators shout themselves hoarse in the thick of subfreezing winter, Yanukovych set about violently confronting them. This tactic backfired horribly. A movement with limited aims became a full-blown revolution.

Vox Day of Vox Popoli notes, “Essentially… there is the key tell that assures us the writer knows he is misleading his readers. The Maidan protesters were not “violently confronted” by the Yanukovych regime, they were murdered by mercenaries in the employ of the people who were pulling their strings, the very same people who are now pulling the strings of BLM and Antifa in the USA’s own would-be color revolution.”

In recent days we have seen a number of General officers condemning Trump’s decisions and his suggestion that he might use martial law to bring the riots under control.  This is part of the attempt to peel his support away.  One unacquainted with history, especially recent history, might find this dismaying.  In fact Presidents have on several occasions in the history of the nation, including George Washington himself, used the army for internal policing in times of crisis.  I also recall that all these generals are what was left after Obama got done purging the officer corps, supporters we now know, of the deep state.  Retired generals can say what they please, they are now civilians, active duty officers who set themselves at odds with the Commander in Chief are mutineers by definition.  Either salute and soldier, soldier, or resign.  Meanwhile the Secretary of Defense has sent the active duty Army troops home from and disarmed the National Guard in Washington DC.

The question can be very legitimately asked, why isn’t POTUS taking action against these people and getting them out of the way where they do no harm?  It is my opinion that he has known who most of these traitors and mutineers are and he is giving them rope with which to hang themselves.

The cabal bent on bringing America down knows that it must defeat Trump or face imprisonment and the death of their dreams of power in the Glorious World of Next Tuesday, also known as the New Socialist World Order.  But more importantly he knows that if he simply acted against these people he would be accused of acting on a demented McCarthyist conspiracy theory.  In order to be successful in draining the Deep State he needs We the People to see for ourselves that what we are facing is a conspiracy fact.  We the People need to see the threat and be willing to stand against it.  He is exposing it so that no one can ever again say it was a conspiracy theory.  Only then can he have the backing of the majority of the People to defeat and destroy it.

The reason Intel agencies never saw the 5th column building up is it happened gradually in universities, in activist groups. Its presence became accepted and normal. Nobody took the march through the institutions seriously, even now.

The only resistance to the creeping radical project was grassroots opposition. It took the form of bloggers, alternative media and ‘populism’ outside the captured institutions. The radicals saw this inchoate enemy forming and called it ‘hate’ or the Deplorables.

The pandemic and the economy destroying response to it fortuitously created what they call in the trade a “revolutionary” condition. All that was needed was a spark. Seize the day. Seize the hour as Mao said.

What we have is a meeting engagement between the Gramscians vs the Minutemen. The radicals have lost their principal advantage, stealth.

Now that the Gramscian u-boat is on the surface the Minutemen should keep them there, spewing ridiculous statements, painting walls etc. They should take the initiative in ordinary life, going outside their precious institutions, in asymmetrical fashion.

“We must act as if the we — our homes, families, work and beliefs — were a fact. We defeat the Gramscian Empire by ignoring it”.

The United States was born in civil disobedience, and will be reborn in civil disobedience to the Progressive lunatics that think they have a divine right to rule us.

As the America writhes under the assault of her enemies it is too easy for We the People to be taken in by the stratagems of our foes and allow ourselves to become divided, fearful, enraged and so lose our own peace and courage. We can easily lose the beautiful vision of and commitment to our unique and precious Constitutional Republic.  They want to pit us against one another, they have been working towards a race war in America for many years.  They want us so terrorized that we will do anything to set the terrors at bay, up to and including national suicide.  They want us seeing red so that we strike out blindly against our fellow Americans and so lose our moral integrity.

They are skilled manipulators and we must under no circumstances allow ourselves to fall into their trap.  They depend on manipulating us into making tactical mistakes that they can exploit for their eventual triumph and our eventual downfall.  In recent articles here, here, here, here, here and here I have broadly outlined the strategic and tactical doctrine of our enemies.  Breitbart has a nice summation here.  Having failed in the several attempted coups since 2016 they now employ Antifa as shock troops to force a Communist Revolution on us.  They are failing, but they are still dangerous.  There is more to come, at times there will be hard and heavy tidings and we must not allow ourselves to be dismayed or discouraged.

I feel a mighty counterrevolution coming on!

Antifa riots have nothing to do with George Floyd’s death

George Floyd was a prop in an outrage play.  Oh, he’s (probably) dead, and the actions of the police were despicable, no question.  Just as the mediaevals presented morality plays to inculcate virtue in the population, just so does the radical left present outrage plays to foment rage, violence and division which it can then exploit for political advantage.  Given the many unanswered questions surrounding Mr. Floyd’s apprehension and subsequent death and the egregiously over the top actions of the officers on scene it is almost impossible to believe that the entire event was anything other than carefully cast and scripted beforehand.  They jumped the shark.

We have come to understand that despite the very legitimate anger among those who take the unfortunate event at face value the subsequent violence has been equally carefully cast and scripted.  Someone has gone to a great deal of trouble to set the scene.  Pallets of bricks miraculously appear in areas in which no construction is taking place but a riot soon does.  A peaceful protest is announced, a crowd of demonstrators is brought together and riled up by leaders with megaphones.  Antifa members who are almost entirely white initiate violence in the form of property crimes.

UPDATE: We now know that Antifa had been planning these actions for months, all they needed was a spark.

Aaaaaand we’re off to the races riots followed by undocumented shoppers helping themselves to whatever they can grab.  Various buildings put to the torch to provide the proper ambiance for subsequent TV propaganda presentations and marshmallow roasts.  A good time is had by all except the business owners and the individual casualties.  Survival safety tip: stay away from crowds.

As a point of interest, these events are organized with a view to categorizing the participants in three classes: Green, Yellow and Red.  The most numerous group are the Greens.  These are the people who have an interest in the catalyzing issue who want to express their views publicly and those who just want to see what’s going on and be part of an event.  These are the people who can be counted on to march, carry signs and chant the slogans provided for them.  Most of them will scatter when violence erupts, some will infected by the madness of crowds and join in the fighting/looting.  Some of these people can be turned into Yellows.

The Yellows are people who have a deeper commitment to the issue in question.  They are motivated by some kind of principle, whether political, social or religious and are therefore more disciplined and more resistant to the forces authority.  These are the people who will chain themselves to trees, sit down and refuse to move, lead chants and be carried off into custody.  These are not very numerous, but they form the core of any sustained protest movement.  Yellows form the ostensible core of these movements, but not all Yellows are in leadership positions.  The demonstrators who were gassed outside the White House when asked to move are these kinds of people.  Some of these people can be turned into Reds.

The Reds are relatively few, but are the most problematic.  These are the people, almost exclusively men, who initiate violence.  If there is a counter demonstration these will mingle with the other side, throw some punches the run back and mingle with the mass of Greens and Yellows.  These are the guys who will start breaking windows and beating any opposition using the mass of Greens and Yellows as cover.  Their job is create chaos by insuring that the demonstration does not remain peaceful.  Once violence is initiated emotions surge across the board and a mob mentality is formed. The Yellows harden their resistance and the Greens react with panic or rage, intensifying the chaos.  They provide the pretext for the propaganda partners to demonize the opposition.

Most dangerous are the organizers who never appear at the demonstrations at all.  They are behind the scenes organizing their soldiers for action and arranging for logistical support from piles of bricks to bail for those arrested.  It is important to inflict as much pain as possible on the opposition by, among other things, providing the bricks but arranging for favorable coverage from their allies in the media.  They also deflect the consequences of their actions from their supporters by providing transportation, instruction sheets, bail money and ordering police stand downs, thereby earning their loyalty.  Sometimes the behind the scenes organizers are actual politicians, sometimes the politicians are their tacit co-conspirators, sometimes their unwitting pawns.

At the strategic level these riot events have nothing to do with racism; the mostly false charge of racism is merely a tool to gain the moral high ground and thereby disqualify and silence any opposition.  The larger goals are apparently two.  First, to politically block Trump’s reelection by turning the electorate against him, or failing that, to cripple his administration at the outset of his second term.  Second, and as an extension of the first, bring about a crisis that can be leveraged into a total abrogation of the Constitution and the establishment of a totalitarian Socialist government.

It appears that by and large America is not taking the bait.  Americans can now clearly see that these violent demonstrations are not spontaneous, organic manifestations of the body politic, no matter how the media spins it.  In all likelihood this particular stratagem to undermine President Trump has failed, though it probably has a little way to go before it burns itself out.  Not to worry, there is no question that they have more mischief waiting in the wings, and we won’t like it.  But whatever it is, we will defeat it too.

In Yucaipa, CA where there was not a cop in sight when Antifa showed up, We the People took action. Language warning.

Floyd murder a set up?

The death of George Floyd under the knee of Officer Derek Chauvin raises a number of questions that have not been answered.  Supposedly Floyd was pulled over for passing a bad $20.00 bill.  He was taken from his vehicle and offered no resistance to the officers.  Placed on the ground and handcuffed, Officer Chauvin then knelt on his neck for over eight minutes despite Floyd complaining that he couldn’t breathe, until he expired.  Chauvin and the three other officers on the scene, Thomas Lane, Tou Thao, and J. Alexander Kueng. were immediately fired.  Subsequently the Mayor of Minneapolis sought to have them all arrested on charges relating to the murder of Mr. Floyd.

Proper police procedure when a subject is cuffed and prone is pretty much to leave him alone.  If he is struggling to get up and the officer doesn’t want him up, is to kneel on his butt, this effectively immobilizes him  In addition to Chauvin kneeling on his neck there was also an officer kneeling on Floyd’s butt.  Regardless, Chauvin’s action was clearly abusive and well outside of policing norms.  Granted Chauvin was the senior officer on scene, but how odd that none of the others seem to have said, “Cool it, Chauvin.  You’re blowing it.  Why not just pick him up and toss him in the back seat of the cruiser?”

Also in Minneapolis

In recent years we have seen a lot of police brutality employed against the citizenry they are sworn to protect.  When it comes to police overreach there is no discrimination against Blacks, all races are potential victims.  There are certain people who crave the the power of life and death over their fellow man, and such people naturally gravitate to where they can exercise that power.  Qualified Immunity too often shields them from the consequences of their actions.  Most Police officers are good people honorably doing a difficult job made even more difficult by the mistrust engendered by their irresponsible fellow officers.

The coroner’s report states that Floyd did not die of traumatic strangulation or asphyxiation.  [UPDATE: a subsequent autopsy concluded the reverse.]  In the image above it is clear that Chauvin was applying pressure the the back of Floyd’s neck, and was not compressing the trachea of obstructing his nose and mouth.  It might be the case that the pressure on his neck constricted the carotid artery depriving Floyd’s brain of oxygen, but that would have resulted in unconsciousness and ultimately death in a lot less than eight minutes.  “Mr. Floyd had underlying health conditions including coronary artery disease and hypertensive heart disease,” said the complaint from the Hennepin County Attorney. “The combined effects of Mr. Floyd being restrained by police, his underlying health conditions and any potential intoxicants in his system likely contributed to his death.”

In any such scene an element of chaos inevitably enters in, this is no exception.  The following is from CBSMinnesota:

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — An incident report by the Minneapolis Fire Department (MFD) is shedding more light on what occurred in George Floyd’s fatal arrest.

Released by the city Wednesday, the report describes confusion as the fire department responded to the scene to assist medical personnel.

Before arriving, the only information the fire crew had was that Floyd, called “pt” in the report, had trauma to his mouth. Fire Station 17 of Minneapolis then arrived at Cup Foods to multiple police squads on scene and a small crowd of citizens.

The report says while MFD attempted to locate Floyd, several people told them that the police “had killed the man.” There was no clear info on Floyd’s whereabouts from either initial police officers or bystanders.

The report says MFD was finally able to locate an officer inside the store, who told them that Hennepin Healthcare medics loaded Floyd into an ambulance and left the scene.

Meanwhile, the fire crew did locate an off-duty firefighter who witnessed the end of the struggle, and said that he saw Floyd go from struggling to unresponsive on the ground while handcuffed and subdued by police.

Dispatch then notified the fire crew that the medics needed assistance and they responded to 36th and Park Avenue.

Two of the fire crew members got into the ambulance. At that time, medics had a chest compression device working on an “unresponsive, pulseless” Floyd. The fire crew members assisted medics and accompanied them to Hennepin Healthcare, where life-saving attempts were continued.

“Medics performed pulse checks several times, finding none, and delivered one shock by their monitor. [Floyd’s] condition did not change,” the report said.

Floyd was pronounced dead at Hennepin Healthcare.

Then things go from chaotic to surreal.

George Floyd and now-former Officer Derek Chauvin both worked security at the El Nuevo Rodeo club on Lake Street, according to Maya Santamaria. Santamaria owned the building for nearly two decades, but sold the venue within the last few months.

‘Chauvin was our off-duty police for almost the entirety of the 17 years that we were open,’ Santamaria said. ‘They were working together at the same time, it’s just that Chauvin worked outside and the security guards were inside.’

Still there is much we don’t know.  How coincidental that Chauvin just happens to be the cop that pulls his co-worker Floyd over for passing a bogus $20 bill.  Where did he get the $20, what was he trying to do with it, and was it in fact counterfeit?  Was there even a $20 bill in the first place? We don’t know.  How strange that Chauvin kneels on Floyd’s neck for 8 minutes in violation of protocol.  How odd that when the Fire Department got there they couldn’t find Floyd’s body, and had to hunt around until they got pointed to the ambulance that doesn’t seem to have been visible to them when they arrived.  Seriously, if you were a Fire Department type looking to assist an injured person wouldn’t you go peek in the ambulance first?  But they don’t seem to have seen it, how do you hide an ambulance on the street at a crisis scene?  At this point I’m not convinced that this hasn’t been staged to produce a major national distraction.

Update: People like this lady on the left also noticed discrepancies in the video, click on the image to view.

A distraction from what?  Glad you asked.

Richard Grenell declassified even more documents before stepping down in favor of John Ratcliffe, the new Director of National Intelligence.  This latest batch includes the transcript of General Flynn’s conversation with Russian Ambasador Kislyak.  Grenell has been extremely effective, having declassified and made public a mass of documentation that utterly exposes the corrupt FBI’s persecution of Michael Flynn and their failed coup attempt against President Donald Trump.  Granted you will not hear anything about all this in the mainstream propaganda outfits, but the riots following Floyd’s death guarantee that they will never hit the airwaves.

Strategic conquest of America – part 5

So far we have seen that International Communism set itself the task of conquering the United States using the KGB’s tried and true recipe of infiltration and subversion, which it has used successfully all over the world.  In phase one many Americans have been taught to despise their own nation, culture and history: Demoralization.  In phase two America’s institutions have been rendered ineffective and set to work at cross purposes to the welfare of the nation: Destabilization.  In phase three an unmotivated populace is forced to work with unmanageable institutions to attempt -and fail – to resolve an artificial calamity resulting in catastrophic failure and the fall of the government: Crisis.

In Yuri Bezmenov’s lexicon the process of replacing a fallen government with a pro Soviet, or in today’s world, a Socialist government, is called Normalization.  The term was coined by Leonid Brezhnev following the short lived and brutally suppressed Hungarian revolt in 1956,  when he declared that “the situation in Hungary has been normalized.”  That normalization resulted in thousands of Hungarians who had supported the revolt being shot out of hand, imprisoned, tortured, and for the more prominent among them, taken to Russia tried and shot in secret.  The Kremlin kept a firm thumb on the Hungarians up until the Soviet collapse in 1991.  In a similar manner the Prague Spring of 1968 was “normalized” with somewhat less savagery as the Czechs offered no violent resistance to Russian Army when they invaded.

Suppression of revolts in the Soviet block by the Red Army were relatively rare.  Far more common was the process of normalization that followed a successful Communist revolution.  In Cuba Fidel Castro’s regime imprisoned, tortured and killed 73,000, and continues to do so today.  Pol Pot’s successful revolution was legendary for cruelty, brutality and blood shed, earning Cambodia the soubriquet The Killing Fields.  Ho Chi Minh’s revolutionary regime in North Vietnam resulted in the imprisonment and execution of approximately 1,200,000 between 1954 and 1975, the majority before 1957.   That was just in the North and does not count the war with the South or the tragic aftermath of the South’s 1975 defeat.

These are just a few examples of of what normalization means for those unfortunate enough to be on the losing end of Communist aggression.  Difficulties in arriving at exact numbers are twofold.  First, accurate records are seldom kept, the Germans being the grim exception.  Second, Marxist true believers continue to foment revolutions worldwide, and those already in Socialist chains continue to suffer and die at astronomical rates.  The Black Book of Communism, published in 1997, is long out of date.  A somewhat more up to date summary can be found here.

Famine, terror, mass murder and endless, unrelenting failure are the universal hallmarks of a successful Marxist takeover.  Even in the US those fomenting revolution have fantasized about the need to put 100,000,000 Americans in reeducation camps about 25% of whom would be irreformable and would need to be killed (video at link).  That was Bill Ayers, Immaculate Barry Obama’s “just a guy in the neighborhood” back in the ’60s, but that attitude has not changed much since then.  Consider Dr. Carol Baker, chair of the CDC Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (video at link).  The extermination of political opposition, however weak and unfocused is an integral feature of the normalization process.  The logic of totalitarianism requires it.

In the previous essay in this series, as well two earlier articles here and here I laid out some of the reasons to believe that the response to the Wuhan virus is a scam, a Bezmenov Crisis event.  We have more information today than was available in those two older articles, but they lead to the same conclusion.  The Communists masquerading as Democrats are playing for all the marbles.

One of America’s greatest military geniuses, if not the greatest, was Colonel John Boyd, USAF.  Among the innovative and useful concepts he developed is the OODA loop.  Every strategic and tactical action, whether military or not, follows these steps.  Observe, Orient, Decide, Act.  Whichever side can complete these steps the fastest has the initiative, and thus the advantage.  For decades the Communists have had the advantage because they understood that that they were at war with America while America did not.  They devised and practiced plans of action that left patriotic Americans confused and paralyzed, unable to correctly understand the threat or devise a suitable response.  In the struggle against this evil ideology Americans went along, fat and dumb and happy, believing that these people were Americans and on America’s side.  Now we know better; this realization is a very good thing.

How might they have hoped their scenario would play out?  Let’s game it out.

President Trump not a smart man (so they think), not being a medical man nor having a background in science, would depend on his scientific advisers who recommend to him that for the sake of the country he must shut it down, everybody goes into voluntary quarantine.  He does this, and the people voluntarily lock themselves into house arrest, utterly terrified of the Wuhan virus, and stay that way until a vaccine is developed.  This would take many months, vaccines are not easy, during which time the trembling population would watch helplessly as their savings disappear, their jobs disappear, they become increasingly dependent on the government, growing angry and frustrated and hopeless.  Come November they would vote Trump out of office, any shortfall in votes would be made up by hundreds of thousands of mail in “bonus ballots” all voting Democrat.  A new Democrat administration would earn the electorate’s gratitude by continuing to provide food and basic services, and gradually jobs would come back.  For safety’s sake everyone would get tested frequently, submitting to enforced quarantine upon testing positive.  Free vaccines would be made mandatory with implanted chips certifying the vaccine and the test results.  An entire social control system would be set in place centered around vaccinations and testing.  The people would be so grateful that their welfare is being safeguarded that they would swiftly comply with whatever restrictions the government would set on their liberty, gladly trading their rights and freedoms for safety from follow-on epidemics.  We would all live the life of Julia happily ever after.

Ain’t gonna happen.

For one thing, President Trump has gone off script.  instead of urging us to stay at home he is instead urging us to get back to work.  Rather than assume national dictatorial control himself he has delegated the responsibility to the States.  He has introduced into the discussions at his daily task force pressers ideas which were never supposed to come up at all, like hydrochloroquine with zinc as an alternative to a vaccine.   He has undermined Dr. Fauci and Dr. Birx publicly as he did recently when Birx was listing out ridiculously high numbers of infections and deaths, remarking in the middle of her monologue, “Who can believe those numbers?”

Although many still adhere to the narrative and are duly terrified (often with good reason), increasingly Americans are not responding to Chicken Little With a Megaphone yammering from the TV.  Americans are going off the globalists’ script.  The lockdowns were originally sold as two weeks of isolation to prevent the hospital system from being overwhelmed.  The hospitals were far, far from being overwhelmed, yet the Powers That Be mandated an additional month of voluntary house arrest, and We the People went along with it for the sake of our fellow citizens.  During that period of enforced idleness we had time on our hands to research over the internet and many of us discovered that the data did not match the models.  Now that some States are opening up their economies again with no apparent ill effect, the rest of us, primarily in Blue States, want to know, “Why not us too?”  The natives are getting restless.

The natives got pretty restive in Michigan, among other places, surrounding the Capitol with hundreds of honking cars and protesters on foot.  They certainly sent a message to Governor Whitmer, that they were very unhappy with her high handed and irrational orders for the safety of Michiganders.  People wanted freedom of movement and the freedom to get back to work.  Unsurprisingly Governor Whitmer was unimpressed.  Unimpressed not just because she figures she’s the boss and has the power, but because the protesters just honked, yelled, had a good time and went home.  She knew perfectly well that neither her political power nor her person was at risk.  She was certain that she would not be tarred, feathered and ridden out of town on a rail.  She was right.

This dude is pathetic.

The mistake that the protesters made was that they though that no other action than loudly demanding their rights would suffice to win the day.  How pathetic.  Rights and freedoms are NEVER won by simply demanding them of tyrants.  If anybody ought to know this it should be Americans.  We did not gain our freedom and our rights by playing Mother May I with King George, we got them because we claimed them for ourselves and enforced that claim with the threat of violence against any who would try to take them from us.  Anyone who waits for a tyrant to grant them their rights and freedom is an idiot that will wait in vain.

Watch this video, then let’s talk.  Go ahead, I’ll wait.

What did you notice?  Here’s what I noticed.  A whole lot of people milling around, being really respectful and obeying the law while complaining about the rules that bar them from enjoying the beach.  They all stand around at the edge of the beach holding their signs, waving their flags and saying how they won’t take it any more.  By golly, they want their beach!  For most of the time they just stand there, saying how much they want their beach, how they have a right to be on their beach, and all the reasons that the forces of government  should not stand between them and their beach.  Denying them their beach is just plain mean!

People:  Mother, may I go on the beach?
Government:  No!
People: Mother may I please go on the beach?
Government:  No!
People:  Mother pretty please may I go on the beach?
Government:  No!  Now shut up!

Then one gal dashes onto the beach!  She is immediately intercepted by a couple of cops which stop her and actually make her kneel in the sand as they prepare to arrest her.  Then after a bit a couple more people kind of hesitantly move onto the beach, the cops start going after them.  Then a bunch of people start coming onto the beach.  The cops realize that there are more beach jumpers than there are cops to stop them and the cops give up.  This is how effective civil disobedience works.  Stand together!  As despicable as Saul Alynski was his tactics work.  He never organized little demonstrations, they were always big and the people trained.

People:  We’re going to the beach.
Government: Don’t you dare go to the beach.
People:  We’re at the beach.  C’mon, guys!
Government:  Get off that beach this very instant!
People: No!
Government:  Oh, crap!  OK, you can stay on the beach.

The Marxist globalists have made a huge strategic error. They bet the farm that Americans could be terrorized en masse into shuffling down the chute to slavery their barkers in the media have laid out for them.  They tell us that this is the new normal, ie. normalization.  But Americans in increasing numbers are on to them, we are alive to the danger and are breaking off from the designated path to find our own way.

Millions of us are inside their OODA loop (we are going through the cycle faster than they are, taking the initiative from them), Observing what’s actually happening, Orienting ourselves to the realities we see, Deciding on what WE want to do, and taking Action to achieve our goals, local and State governments to the contrary not withstanding.  Now WE have the initiative and are forcing them to react to us.  From this point forward the globalists will be forced to devise a series of increasingly ineffective ad hoc measures to try and keep their plan from falling apart.  It is coming apart and they can’t stop it.

Ultimately the situation will be “normalized,” but it is  not going to be a new normal on their terms.  America will emerge from this crisis.  What we will look like when that happens depends on us.  Do we really understand our rights and liberties?  How highly do we value them?  Are we willing to respect other people’s expression of their rights and liberties?  How willing are we to stand up for our own rights and liberties?  And, key question here, how willing is each of us to risk in support of other’s rights and liberties?

To date there has not been much talk of standing with fellow Americans whose rights and liberties are being unjustly trampled, and even less action.  As we saw in the above video an isolated citizen is easily taken down.  Even a small group of citizens is easily taken down.  A great mass of citizens, not so much.  The globalist’s aim will be to isolate us, to cut us off from the possibility of mutual support.  If we are to retain our freedom and way of life we must make it our business to gather round the citizen being harassed and threatened by tyranny’s enforcers.

Rights and liberties are preserved by their excercise.  This is what the new normal should look like.  Because once they load us on the boxcars its too late.

Others are depending on us.

Strategic conquest of America part 4

In the previous essays in this series I discussed America’s ideological enemy in part 1, in which I also introduced the four step strategic plan to destroy America as elucidated by the KGB defector Yuri Bezmenov.  In part 2 I discussed the first step in the strategic plan, Demoralization.  In part 3 I reviewed the second step in the plan, Destabilization.  In this essay I will discuss the third step, Crisis.

In this stage a nation is compelled to face an entirely manufactured situation which it is incapable of resolving.  It should be emphasized that there is nothing natural about this crisis, it is a situation that has been carefully crafted to ensure that the nation’s government is unable to resolve it, is overwhelmed and faced with catastrophic failure, the government falls.  In truth it is an attack on many fronts perpetrated by the covert Lenisist Marxist elements that have infiltrated and subverted the nation’s institutions.

When Hillary Clinton failed to win the 2016 Presidential election the Communists who have been operating behind the mask of the Democrat Party saw their chance to finally consolidate their grip on America slipping away.  The leadership of the party is old and have been working towards this goal for most of their lives; they wanted to be able to enjoy the fruit of their lifetime’s effort.  As members of Karl Marx’s millenarian death cult they might have groomed a younger generation to step into positions of leadership, but secure in their belief that THEY were going to be the anointed ones they reserved the drug “POWER” to themselves.  Having driven all challengers from the arena they now find themselves tied to the tottering husk of Joe Biden.

Hence the wild coup attempts against President Trump.  The Russia Collusion Hoax. the failed Impeachment attempt and now the Wuhan Virus pandemic, or, as is becoming more and more evident, the planned-demic.  We are beginning to understand that whole lockdown scenario, which was supposed to last for only two weeks and has now gone on for nearly two months, has been a waste of time and effort.  Still there are governors (note well the capital letter after their names) who insist on maintaining the lockdown.

OC Register 05/10/2020

So why maintain the lockdowns if they were never really needed in the first place, or if you prefer to believe, were once needed but are no longer necessary?  One possibility is that they are a form of Cloward Piven Strategy, as discussed in a previous article in this series.

From public remarks made at various White House WuFlu pressers among others it was the hope of certain people that the lockdowns would continue in effect until  a vaccine was developed, with no defined date in view.  Clearly it was hoped that they would remain in effect until at least the November election.  The resultant economic catastrophe could then be blamed on Trump to sway the election towards the Democrat ticket.  Also, and more apropos this discussion, is Mr. Garcon’s idea in the above graphic, “we are doing things today that should have been done a long time ago. The pandemic has forced a lot of things that were being talked about to actually take place at a very rapid pace. The reset button was pushed and I don’t see us coming back.”  Thus locking in the fundamental transformation of America.

Donald Trump is America’s response to Obama’s Fundamental Transformation of America: “The Audacity of Nope!”  Trump is well on the way to effacing Obama’s transformation, which means that the hard left dotards would need years they don’t have to regain what they’ve lost.  The Whuan virus has given them a crisis, and they mean to exploit it to the hilt.

Ordinarily a planned crisis results in the fall of government with its ruling class and its replacement by a new ruling class that has been waiting in the wings, ready to impose the Worker’s Paradise on a supine, demoralized population and shattered society.  In America’s case it is clear that it is not the ruling class that needs purging, but a still unruly American people.  Having terrified us with the largely chimerical Chinese virus they demand that we trade our lusty freedom for a managed, ephemeral safety.  They demand that we exchange our natural leadership, We the People under God, for a smarmy, preening, incompetent Socialist aristocracy.

There have been two unintended beneficial effects of these lockdowns.  The first is that We the People, with more time on our hands, have been able to look into what is going on and have become more skeptical of the entire premise and its sequels.  People know they are being lied to, and they don’t like it.  The second is that we have so far been spared terrorist violence.

In his 1988 book, Spetsnaz, the GRU (Soviet Military Intelligence) defector Viktor Suvorov outlined the use of plain clothes Spetsnaz troops to infiltrate a target nation’s population and engage in assassinations, sabotage and random acts of violence.  Responsibility for these acts was never claimed by any  terrorist group, they just came out of the blue and were known as “the gray terror.”  As no one could understand or predict the violence the target society was reduced to fearful confusion and paralysis, aiding the soon to appear Red Army coming to “rescue” the troubled country.  The Left has just such forces at their disposal, notably, Antifa and special cadres of trained thugs, some in gangs, some not.  As a general rule the gray terror includes a significant uptick in general criminal activity.  It is no accident that hard left District Attorneys like George Garcon have been refusing to prosecute violent criminals and instead releasing them back into the unsuspecting population, even before the Wuhan virus was unleashed.

The question remains, however, is the Wuhan virus pandemic a planned event?  There are facts that suggest that it is.  Enhanced corona virus research in North Carolina made illegal by Congress because it is too dangerous is not suspended but moved to Wuhan in China.  Dr. Fauci authorizes several million dollars to be paid to the research facility in Wuhan from NIH fundsEvent 201 takes place in New York on 18 October 2019 to discuss how information about a pandemic is to be managed.  The connections between Dr. Fauci and Dr. Birx with entities at least partially funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates FoundationThe many connections with vast sums of money flowing between the Gates Foundation and vaccine makers and philanthropic organizations distributing vaccines throughout the third world, and the fantastically high failure rates of those vaccinesThe insistence on the need for a vaccine when perfectly effective and affordable cures are available (hydroxychoroquine + zinc).  The faked studies by the CDC that purport to show that hydroxychloroquine + zinc is ineffective or more dangerous than death.  The very strange lockstep reportage on the whole pandemic event by the mainstream media to scare the public into acquiescing to extended lockdowns.  The very strange efforts by Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Youtube to very quickly remove any discussion not in agreement with the mainstream media’s narrative.  H.R. 6666 (a clue here?) proposing millions of dollars for an army of virus testers with the power to forcibly sequester infected persons and conduct extensive contact tracing.  The Covid-19 wonder drug Remdesivir made by Gilead Sciences, a Chinese company in Wuhan China, in which George Soros and the Gates Foundation are heavy investors.  And much, much more, any couple of which would be no big deal, but there are just too many interlocking pieces not to believe that this is a Bezmenov Crisis event.  They are playing for all the marbles.

The Soviet strategic plan for taking over other countries and imposing a Socialist government, whether directly or by proxy, requires forcing an existential crisis requiring the assistance of friendly Socialist comrades.  The conquest of America has been a long term goal of world Communism for decades.  We have been demoralized, destabilized and finally brought to crisis.  All that remains now is normalization, which I will discuss in the next and final essay in this series.

Strategic conquest of America Part 3

In my last essay I discussed  the first step in the destruction of a nation as described by KGB defector Yuri Bezmenov.  That first step is demoralization, in which a nation or people is brought to a point that it holds its own history, culture, art, public institutions, religion and political leadership in contempt and no longer upholds or transmits it values to upcoming generations.  According to Bezmenov this should take about 20 years.  the fact that is has been ongoing for a good fifty years is a testament to the strength of American civilization.  The process, as noted previously, is near completion.

The next stage in the process of strategically destroying and taking over a nation is destabilization.  Destabilization is the process of making the functioning of the the nation’s institutions increasingly inefficient and counter productive.  Obstacles are constantly placed in the way of the smooth operation of these institutions, and they get co-opted into investing their energies in upholding initiatives that have nothing to do with their core mission, and so the core mission is marginalized and often lost.

This is accomplished by infiltration and subversion both within and without the organization.  Infiltration and subversion from within is accomplished when individuals become members of the organization and work to undermine it, subversion from without occurs when an organization is forced to change as a result of external pressures.  Three names are particularly associated with the work of destabilizing American society.  The most well known is that of Saul Alinsky, author of Rules for Radicals and leftist organizer extraordinaire.

The other, much less well known names, are Richard Cloward and Fances Fox Piven, who in 1966 formulated the Cloward-Piven Strategy for collapsing the welfare system.  The strategy proved so successful that it has been applied to many other areas targeted by the radical left.  These three Socialists formulated the battlefield strategies and tactics that have been leading us ever further into the fundamental transformation of America: the collapse of our democratic republic and its replacement by a totalitarian collectivist state.  When teamed with the Alinsky rules, as it generally is, the Cloward Piven Strategy is devastating; much devastation have they wrought.

Having forced New York City into bankruptcy, and nearly New York State as well, the welfare reforms signed by Bill Clinton limited what damage could be done through the welfare system.  They then pivoted to the electoral system, forcing reforms that have opened elections at local, State and Federal levels to increasing levels of fraud.  The Democrats’ big push towards universal vote by mail and ballot harvesting would put and end to any but the most superficial semblance of honest elections.  It is not simply a question of using fraud to perpetuate a one Party system, but goes to de-legitimize the electoral process altogether.

The same forces are at work undermining the immigration system.  Since at least 1965 the whole point of encouraging foreigners to flood into the US was and remains to undermine the very concept of America’s national sovereignty, American law, American  citizenship and American identity.  Sovereignty because every nation has the right to define and defend its borders.  As a republic America is a nation governed by laws, by flouting the law on such a massive scale America’s governing principles are eroded.  When foreigners have equal or greater rights than Americans American citizenship is devalued.  When millions whose cultures are at odds with the culture that shaped and nurtured the American heart and soul, and those foreign cultures refuse to assimilate but retain their distinctness in opposition to American values, American values become diluted and increasingly alien to those who claim these United States as our native land.

Notice that all of these actions which undermine and corrupt institutions are undertaken in the name of the poor, the marginalized and, in Alinsy’s words, the have-nots, who are supposedly oppressed by the wealthy and the powerful.  Americans, who still largely share a Christian value system, are much attracted to the ideas of compassion, generosity and helping the less fortunate.  What is not obvious, and is well masked, is that those organizing the poor and downtrodden very often become wealthy and powerful themselves.  This might be considered odd if it were not so common; it is a feature, not a bug.  For those at the top charity pays.

There is a great deal of money to be made leveraging charity to subvert an institution, which is a good thing for them because it takes a great deal of money to fund leftist causes.  Church charities are no exception.  In 1969 Saul Alinsky joined forces with Cardinal John Cody in Chicago to establish the National Catholic Crusade Against Poverty which over time became the Catholic Campaign for Human Development which every year solicits millions of dollars from Catholic parishioners from all over the country.  These funds are then distributed to various organizations, many of which are not only left-leaning but whose stated aims are directly contrary to Catholic teaching.  Despite investigations and protests over many years tremendous amounts of money continue to be donated to organizations which directly undermine the Church.

In the early 1990’s Saul Alinsky’s Industrial Areas Foundation came to Los Angeles to leverage the goodwill of a local community based organization, S.E.A., an anti-gang youth organization.  They were doing great work getting young people out of gangs, off drugs and free of criminal influence.  The IAF came in and raised millions of dollars from both the private and public sectors to replicate this successful model on a much larger scale, the program was called Hope in Youth.  A great deal was done in a hurry, no proper foundation in terms of training and community outreach was laid.  Then one fine day everybody came in to find the lights had been turned off, a big part of the funds entrusted to the IAF to administer were no longer available in Los Angeles and the IAF was exempt from audit.  Not only was the money gone, the hopes and expectations of the communities that needed the help were dashed and the reputation of the organizations that had sponsored the program were ruined.  Everybody came  out a loser except the Marxists whose agenda was advanced and coffers enriched.

The process of Destabilization is designed to make the governance of a country more difficult.  The nation’s institutions are rendered ineffective, often working counter to their own mandates.  The population learns that these institutions cannot be relied upon or even trusted.  Things get out of control and every effort to restore balance is met with another destabilizing push.

In Bezemov’s four step recipe for taking over a country, Demoralization, Destabilization, Crisis, Normalization, the steps are not mutually exclusive. each flows into the next, with a good deal of overlap between the steps.  I have now discussed the first two, Demoralization and Destabilization.  In my next essay I will discuss step three, Crisis.

Strategic conquest of America part 2

In a previous post I stated that Communism has deeply infiltrated many institutions in the United States and that it has a viable game plan for achieving victory.  Although they are well on the way to achieving victory they can yet be stopped.  Preventing their victory and reversing the damage their infiltration has done is possible.

The first step is to understand their strategy.  In military theory, strategy is “the utilization during both peace and war, of all of the nation’s forces, through large scale, long-range planning and development, to ensure security and victory.”  Strategy, then, involves long range planning and total mobilization of forces.  Communists are much better than most of us at making long range plans and carrying them out.  We tend to think of long range as the next quarter or the next election cycle, they think in terms of multiple decades.

The KGB defector Yuri Bezmenov outlined how that subversion was to take place .  The KGB had a tried and true four step process that it used extensively and is used today by Communists all over the world.  They called it “Active Measures” or “Cultural Warfare.”  The steps are:

1. Demoralization; 2. Destabilization; 3. Crisis; 4. Normalization.

When Soviet agents (I will use the term Soviet as it is the term he used but can refer to any successor Communist entity) infiltrate a society they work to achieve these goals.  They seek to acquire positions of influence in every institution in that culture, political parties, news and entertainment organs, schools at all levels especially in the colleges and universities., industry, labor, religion, military, intelligence services, etc.  In short, they work themselves into positions of power and influence.

In the demoralization phase they seek to turn whatever institution against the norms and values of the institution and the society as a whole, if not actually in the direction of Soviet goals.  Until recently these operatives had to feign  loyalty to the society while gradually undermining it.  Examples from the last 80+ years abound, but for purposes of discussion I will illustrate with education.

At the turn of the 20th century our schools were regularly teaching Latin and Greek along with the Bible.  This was considered a necessary foundation to understanding the foundations of our own history and civilization.  Under the influence of John Dewey, an avowed Socialist and the Father of Modern Education all three of these were regarded as unimportant, ultimately to be excised from the American educational system.  Madalyn Murray O’Hair, an active Socialist, succeeded in having prayer removed from public schools in 1963.  In 1995 an researcher who had worked for the Department of Education under Reagan (and whose name I can no longer remember) gave a presentation in which she pointed out two very significant things.  First, the Department of Education under Clinton had mandated that every school district in the US, over 13,000 of them, was to form a committee, develop and file a mission statement with the Department.  She found that ALL of them were virtually identical with only a few words difference between them.  This is statistically impossible and is clear evidence of a central mind organizing and directing the whole exercise across the entire country.  Second, she analyzed the curricula and found that it was optimized to limit or exclude critical thinking and inculcate conformity and compliance.

In 1960 America led the world in education, and California led the nation.  Today the US is somewhere between 25th and 37th in the world, and California is 47th in the nation.  Our kids were having trouble keeping up even before the disaster of Bill Gates’ eight year Common Core experiment.  With the universal adoption of the Socialist Howard Zinn’s A People’s History of the United States, despite furious objections of historians, future Americans are taught to despise American history and culture.  Today the bleeding edge in education is gender theory, undermining the very concept of normal human relations in society.  Increasingly our youth know all about sexual deviancy but can’t read or write, and therefore are absolutely unqualified for employment in our technological world.

When the process of demoralization is complete the citizens of a given nation regard their country with contempt and indifference, they no longer support or promote its values if they even know them at all.  They see nothing worth advancing, nothing worth preserving, nothing worth defending.  They no longer see themselves as a valiant extension of a noble past or the guardians of a tradition to pass on to the next generation.  They don’t support the government, are cynical about the nation’s institutions and withdraw from purposeful participation in the nation’s life.  They accept the status quo not because they prefer it but because no viable alternative presents itself, they go along to get along, they have no firm foundation and feel no loyalty to the existing order.

If any doubt that things have changed in education in the last century, consider the 8th grade final exam at right.  The later stages of demoralization provide the lead in to destabilization which I will discuss in the next article in this series.

Delayed Update on Coronavirus Pandemic in the US

By James E. Enstrom, PhD, MPH, FFACE SCRW&M Science and Environment Chair and Retired UCLA Research Professor (epidemiologist and physicist) and Jeffrey D. Klausner, MD, professor of epidemiology at the UCLA Fielding School of Public Health and in the Division of Infectious Diseases and the Program in Global Health at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA.

This piece ran in the Los Angeles Daily News on April 12, 2020.

The novel coronavirus has spread in the United States since early March, igniting epidemics in some major cities like New York City, New Orleans and Detroit.  Many of the outbreaks have increased rapidly, peaked, and some have now declined. Despite the worst fears, the virus has not spread broadly in the general population.

As of April 10, there have been about 475,000 cases and 17,000 deaths reported in the country.  In California, there have been about 20,000 cases and 550 deaths, equivalent to rates of 51 cases and 1.4 deaths per 100,000 California residents.  California is currently ranked 30th of 50 states, with a death rate that is about one-quarter of the national rate.

Within California, COVID-19 risk varies substantially by county. About 90 percent of the cases and deaths have occurred in 14 mostly urban counties, particularly Los Angeles, Santa Clara, San Diego and Riverside counties. In the 44 remaining counties, which are mostly rural and less densely populated, the case and death rates are less than half of the overall California rates and are among the lowest in the entire U.S.

Since April 1, new cases have been relatively steady with increases likely due to more testing rather than increased transmission. Our hospital systems have been preparing for weeks. We have seen increases in COVID-19 admissions and cases in intensive care units, but currently our system capacity to manage those cases has been quite adequate.

The number of COVID-19 deaths have been much less than the 750 total deaths that occur every day in California.  Furthermore, there is evidence that there have been substantial reductions in the deaths due to seasonal flu, pneumonia and accidents because of the almost exclusive focus on COVID-19 and the current statewide lockdown. Thus, it is possible that there has been no increase in the normal number of total daily deaths. Given the massive societal disruption of the statewide lockdown, it is important to assess the overall mortality statistics.

Many of the predictions on the frequency and impact of COVID-19 in California have been based on statistical models. Indeed, the University of Washington’s Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation (IHME) Model has overestimated the COVID-19 death and hospitalization rates. The total number of IHME-projected COVID-19 deaths in California has been reduced by nearly 75 percent from the March 26 estimate of 6,100 to the April 7 estimate of 1,611.  Similarly, the projected peak number of hospital beds needed for COVID-19 patients each day has been reduced from 15,000 to 5,000.

The current statewide shelter-at-home approach might have been justified in the absence of actual data based on the substantial fears of viral spread within the general population, but now that policy appears to be an overreaction failing to account for the observed frequency and distribution of cases. Those most at risk are the elderly and those with existing chronic conditions. Indeed, among the persons hospitalized with COVID-19, 86 percent of those aged 18-64 years and 94 percent of those aged 65-plus years have at least one underlying medical condition.

We should be updating our response to the epidemic in California with a localized public health approach focused on protecting the elderly and those with chronic conditions.  We must increase

testing, isolation and contact notification activities.  We can continue to emphasize lower-cost personal behavior changes such as staying at home for work or school if ill, covering coughs or sneezes, avoiding those currently with respiratory symptoms and handwashing. We must greatly increase case finding through unrestricted and expanded free testing for anyone who wants a test, symptomatic or not. And we must approve the use of home-collection to enable the safe and easy delivery of testing kits and return of specimens to laboratories through the mail.

We should scale up technological solutions that facilitate registration for testing and timely online confidential access to test results and contact notification. We should limit the duration of quarantine by utilizing tests that detect the virus to enable those who test negative to return to work or school.  Furthermore, we should lift restrictions that have little theoretical value such as closed beaches, parks, tennis courts and hiking trails.

Because of the epidemiologic characteristics of the novel coronavirus — the relatively short duration of infectiousness (~ 8 days) and low proportion of asymptomatic infection — there is low potential of COVID-19 to cause epidemic spread in the general population.  While original models predicted massive spread resulting in infection of more than 50 percent of the general population, that has not occurred in any area.

Now that our understanding of how the virus spreads is improving, it is time to let the data inform an updated response.
Our resources to control the coronavirus epidemic have increased.  We need to use them strategically, protect the vulnerable and enable Californians in low-transmission areas to get back to work and school.  We can monitor the frequency of new cases and hospital admissions and adapt interventions based on the burden of infection in a given population to maintain our health system capacity.

Like any response to an emergency, our response must be data-driven and not fueled by panic. We must use the data available to support an updated approach rather than continuing indefinite stay-at-home orders and prolonged quarantine.

And then there’s this:
