Will China ignite a war?

Over at the Strategy Page podcast page Jim Dunnigan and Austin Bay discuss China’s strategic environment as the context in which China’s foreign policy lives.  Thoughtful and provocative.

It is one thing to kick off a a war in the South China Sea, but it seems that China is running kinetic operations closer to home – our home.  Trevor Loudon has the story over at the Epoch Times via Zr. Z’s Blog.  The Epoch Times is behind a pay wall, so here are some extracts.

Maoists Burn Kenosha

The rioters who attacked police officers with Molotov cocktails and fireworks and torched numerous buildings inKenosha, Wisconsin, earlier this week included members of the same pro-China communist group that “sparked” the May riots in Minneapolis after the police-involved killing of George Floyd.

Maoist activists from the Freedom Road Socialist Organization (FRSO) can take most, if not all, of the credit for inciting the recent rioting in Kenosha. The town of 100,000 people has been torn apart, businesses and cars have been razed, multiple people have been arrested, and two people have died—yet no one seems to want to call out the real culprits.

FRSO is based in the Midwest. It has maintained a strong presence in Chicago and Minneapolis for decades. The subversive organization has expanded in recent years into Milwaukee and the smaller university towns of Oshkosh and Kenosha, where new cadre are recruited through campus branches of FRSO’s youth wing: New Students for a Democratic Society.

On Feb. 20, 2017, [sic] the day President Trump was inaugurated, FRSO political secretary Steff Yorekdeclaredto a crowd of Washington, D.C. protesters: “We need to stay in the streets the entire four years opposing Trump and making the country ungovernable.”

In November 2019, FRSO convened a conference in Chicago to form a new nationwide front organization: the National Alliance Against Racist and Political Repression (NAARPR).

More accurately, it was a re-founding of an old Communist Party USA front of the 1970s of the same name. The original NAARPR was set up to free iconic communist Angela Davis, who was then under arrest for alleged complicity in the murder of a California judge. Davis was eventually acquitted of the murder charge in 1972, and she even came to Chicago toconfer her blessingon the new organization.

When protesters gathered in downtown Kenosha after the Aug. 23 police-involved shooting of Jacob Blake, three banners were clearly visible at the head of the several-hundred-strong crowd:

The bright red FRSO banner, the green banner of the Milwaukee Alliance Against Racist and Political Repression, and the smaller black flag of New Students for a Democratic Society—probably the local University of Wisconsin—Parkside branch.

Just before the march, a young woman led the crowd in a chant of “long live the revolution” directly in front of the signature FRSO banner. FRSO Facebook pages (both Wisconsin and national) contain extensive coverage of the protests and riots—as does the FRSO-affiliated website FightBack! News.

The stuff of nightmares: Confessions of a Voter Fraud

“I was a master of fixing mail in ballots,” the New York Post has the story:

A top Democratic operative says voter fraud, especially with mail-in ballots, is no myth. And he knows this because he’s been doing it, on a grand scale, for decades.

Mail-in ballots have become the latest flashpoint in the 2020 elections. While President Trump and the GOP warn of widespread manipulation of the absentee vote that will swell with COVID polling restrictions, many Democrats and their media allies have dismissed such concerns as unfounded.

But the political insider, who spoke on condition of anonymity because he fears prosecution, said fraud is more the rule than the exception. His dirty work has taken him through the weeds of municipal and federal elections in Paterson, Atlantic City, Camden, Newark, Hoboken and Hudson County and his fingerprints can be found in local legislative, mayoral and congressional races across the Garden State. Some of the biggest names and highest office holders in New Jersey have benefited from his tricks, according to campaign records The Post reviewed.

“An election that is swayed by 500 votes, 1,000 votes — it can make a difference,” the tipster said. “It could be enough to flip states.”

The whisteblower — whose identity, rap sheet and long history working as a consultant to various campaigns were confirmed by The Post — says he not only changed ballots himself over the years, but led teams of fraudsters and mentored at least 20 operatives in New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania — a critical 2020 swing state.

“There is no race in New Jersey — from City Council to United States Senate — that we haven’t worked on,” the tipster said. “I worked on a fire commissioner’s race in Burlington County. The smaller the race the easier it is to do.”

A Bernie Sanders die-hard with no horse in the presidential race, he said he felt compelled to come forward in the hope that states would act now to fix the glaring security problems present in mail-in ballots.

“This is a real thing,” he said. “And there is going to be a f–king war coming November 3rd over this stuff … If they knew how the sausage was made, they could fix it.”

Mail-in voting can be complicated — tough enough that 84,000 New Yorkers had their mailed votes thrown out in the June 23 Democratic presidential primary for incorrectly filling them out.

But for political pros, they’re a piece of cake. In New Jersey, for example, it begins with a blank mail-in ballot delivered to a registered voter in a large envelope. Inside the packet is a return envelope, a “certificate of mail in voter” which the voter must sign, and the ballot itself.

That’s when the election-rigger springs into action.

Phony Ballots

The ballot has no specific security features — like a stamp or a watermark — so the insider said he would just make his own ballots.

“I just put [the ballot] through the copy machine and it comes out the same way,” the insider said.

But the return envelopes are “more secure than the ballot. You could never recreate the envelope,” he said. So they had to be collected from real voters.

He would have his operatives fan out, going house-to-house, convincing voters to let them mail completed ballots on their behalf as a public service. The fraudster and his minions would then take the sealed envelopes home and hold them over boiling water.

“You have to steam it to loosen the glue,” said the insider.

He then would remove the real ballot, place the counterfeit ballot inside the signed certificate, and reseal the envelope.

“Five minutes per ballot tops,” said the insider.

The insider said he took care not to stuff the fake ballots into just a few public mailboxes, but sprinkle them around town. That way he avoided the attention that foiled a sloppy voter-fraud operation in a Paterson, NJ city council race this year, where 900 ballots were found in just three mailboxes.

“If they had spread them in all different mailboxes, nothing would have happened,” the insider said.

Inside Jobs

The tipster said sometimes postal employees are in on the scam.

“You have a postman who is a rabid anti-Trump guy and he’s working in Bedminster or some Republican stronghold … He can take those [filled-out] ballots, and knowing 95% are going to a Republican, he can just throw those in the garbage.”

In some cases, mail carriers were members of his “work crew,” and would sift ballots from the mail and hand them over to the operative.

In 2017 more than 500 mail-in ballots in New York City never arrived to the Board of Elections for races that November — leaving hundreds disenfranchised. They eventually were discovered in April 2018. “For some undetermined reason, some baskets of mail that were bound to the New York City Board of Elections were put off to the side at the Brooklyn processing facility,” city elections boss Michael Ryan said at the time of discovery.

Nursing Homes

Hitting up assisted-living facilities and “helping” the elderly fill out their absentee ballots was a gold mine of votes, the insider said.

“There are nursing homes where the nurse is actually a paid operative. And they go room by room by room to these old people who still want to feel like they’re relevant,” said the whistleblower. “[They] literally fill it out for them.”

The insider pointed to former Jersey City Mayor Gerald McCann, who was sued in 2007 after a razor-thin victory for a local school board seat for allegedly tricking “incompetent … and ill” residents of nursing homes into casting ballots for him. McCann denied it, though did admit to assisting some nursing home residents with absentee ballot applications.

Voter Impersonation

When all else failed, the insider would send operatives to vote live in polling stations, particularly in states like New Jersey and New York which do not require voter ID. Pennsylvania, also for the most part, does not.

The best targets were registered voters who routinely skip presidential or municipal elections — information which is publicly available.

“You fill out these index cards with that person’s name and district and you go around the city and say, ‘You’re going to be him, you’re going to be him,” the insider said of how he dispatched his teams of dirty-tricksters.

At the polling place, the fake voter would sign in, “get on line and … vote,” the insider said. The imposters would simply recreate the signature that already appears in the voter roll as best they could. In the rare instance that a real voter had already signed in and cast a ballot, the impersonator would just chalk it up to an innocent mistake and bolt.

And on and on and on.  Read the whole thing.  Just sickening.  This is why organizations like True the Vote and The Election Integrity Project are so important.

Whom the gods would destroy

My father, God rest him, used to admonish me against anger by quoting  Prometheus in Longfellow’s poem ‘The Masque of Pandora’:

Whom the gods would destroy they first make mad.

Which is presumably why God made Donald Trump (shades of Paul Harvey’s “So God made a farmer“).

Here’s Tim Pool again.  You think he’s going to talk about Trump sending federal officers to quell the riots, and he does.  But this former lefty has been totally red-pilled, has absolutely had it with the Left and the Democratic Party.  Nothing here but red meat for conservatives.  Take notes and share the wealth.

Independent journalist arrested on secret indictment as deep state expose goes public

Independent journalist Millie Weaver and her partner were arrested Friday on charges based on a secret indictment, which can be issued by a grand jury.  The charges are burglary and domestic violence; since when do you need a grand jury for that?  She had just completed but not yest premiered a documentary exposing the Deep State entitled Shadow Gate.  In the video below her colleague explains what happened and then we see her documenting her own arrest.   I can guarantee you that you won’t be seeing this on the evening news.

Immediately upon receiving the video stream from Ms. Weaver her colleague uploaded the video to the internet before it could be scrubbed from their production server.  The clumsiness of the arrest procedure – it was nothing like the well planned and executed arrest of Roger Stone, for example – suggests that arrest was arranged in haste.  Below is the devastating expose that the Deep State was presumably trying to hide.

Pass it on.

The Democrat playbook going forward to November

The Democrats have no intention of losing the November 2020 election.  They plan to win, and they have a plan to prevent the American voters from interfering with that victory.  Just the other night the Democrat controlled legislature of Nevada pulled a fast one and legislated, among other things, universal vote by mail without a single Republican lawmaker or member of the public present.  This despite the fact that their vote by mail primary was an abject disaster, with a full 17% of ballots deemed “undeliverable by the Post Office.”

Nevada Gov. Steve Sisolak and his legislative allies claim the 100-page bill, the crux of which is an unprecedented expansion of mail-in voting and an allowance for “ballot harvesting,” is a necessary safety precaution in the face of the COVID-19 epidemic. In reality, it’s a blatantly partisan attempt to radically overhaul Nevada’s elections in a way that blows the door wide open to widespread voter fraud.

Mark Levin details some of the consequences of suddenly ramping up, dumping millions of votes in the Post Office, far beyond their capacity to manage.

Good summary, Mark, but you give the Democrats too much credit for playing by the rules.  These people are deeply evil and they want one thing, one thing only: to seize power by any means necessary (if you’ve been paying attention you will have heard that phrase before).  There seems to be another alternative to litigating the election results than in the courts, however.

Fox News has a good rundown on how things might play out.

Given how long counting has taken in some state primaries this year it’s not unreasonable to think that we could see legal battles rage until the last minute, but one way or the other, by Dec. 14, they’re obliged to convene their electors and transmit the results by certified mail.

But what if some states don’t finish in time or what if secretaries of state certify electors with claims widely in dispute? The Constitution has an answer.

If the disputed or incomplete results don’t prevent a candidate from reaching 270 votes then it’s no big deal. Congress can ignore what’s missing and still pick a president.

But if the number of missing or disputed electors is large enough or the election close enough that the absence prevents either candidate from getting to 270, the House gets to choose. Just as would be the case in a 269-269 tie, the House would select one of the candidates who has won electoral votes.

But however Congress gets there, on Jan. 6 the members will either certify the results or the House will get to work making its choice. Here, the House acts differently than usual. The delegations from each of the 50 states get one vote. California and Montana would be equals.

The current Congress is pretty narrowly divided with 25 Republican-majority delegations, 24 Democrat-majority delegations and one tie, Pennsylvania. We don’t know what the next Congress will look like exactly, but we can assume it won’t be wildly different.

There are currently four states with caucus control decided by one seat: Arizona, Colorado, Florida and Michigan. One imagines there would be a great deal of deal making in such places. It would be hot stuff, indeed.

But however it goes, the House would pick a president before noon on Jan. 20 when the current president’s term expires.

It is possible that President Trump will sweep 49 States, but the Democrats intend to prevent that by sowing chaos and uncertainty, then claiming victory.  God help us all – so pray hard.

Libs taking the red pill

Tim Pool is an independent journalist who produces his own news and commentary programs.  By inclination he leans left of center, but does pretty well covering his stories fairly, openly admits his biases while giving other points of view their hearing.  He is a solid believer in the US Constitution and loves his country.  He always wears a black jacket, black T-shirt and black beanie, it is his trademark, which I think, was the uniform he wore on the streets of Chicago where he grew up.  Recent events provoked by the radical left and the Democratic Party have been pushing him to the right.

In previous videos he has declared his support for President Trump simply because he is appalled at what the Democrats are doing.  Have a listen and be encouraged.  Oh, and don’t tell the Donks, never interrupt an enemy when he is making a mistake.
