Strategic conquest of America part 2

In a previous post I stated that Communism has deeply infiltrated many institutions in the United States and that it has a viable game plan for achieving victory.  Although they are well on the way to achieving victory they can yet be stopped.  Preventing their victory and reversing the damage their infiltration has done is possible.

The first step is to understand their strategy.  In military theory, strategy is “the utilization during both peace and war, of all of the nation’s forces, through large scale, long-range planning and development, to ensure security and victory.”  Strategy, then, involves long range planning and total mobilization of forces.  Communists are much better than most of us at making long range plans and carrying them out.  We tend to think of long range as the next quarter or the next election cycle, they think in terms of multiple decades.

The KGB defector Yuri Bezmenov outlined how that subversion was to take place .  The KGB had a tried and true four step process that it used extensively and is used today by Communists all over the world.  They called it “Active Measures” or “Cultural Warfare.”  The steps are:

1. Demoralization; 2. Destabilization; 3. Crisis; 4. Normalization.

When Soviet agents (I will use the term Soviet as it is the term he used but can refer to any successor Communist entity) infiltrate a society they work to achieve these goals.  They seek to acquire positions of influence in every institution in that culture, political parties, news and entertainment organs, schools at all levels especially in the colleges and universities., industry, labor, religion, military, intelligence services, etc.  In short, they work themselves into positions of power and influence.

In the demoralization phase they seek to turn whatever institution against the norms and values of the institution and the society as a whole, if not actually in the direction of Soviet goals.  Until recently these operatives had to feign  loyalty to the society while gradually undermining it.  Examples from the last 80+ years abound, but for purposes of discussion I will illustrate with education.

At the turn of the 20th century our schools were regularly teaching Latin and Greek along with the Bible.  This was considered a necessary foundation to understanding the foundations of our own history and civilization.  Under the influence of John Dewey, an avowed Socialist and the Father of Modern Education all three of these were regarded as unimportant, ultimately to be excised from the American educational system.  Madalyn Murray O’Hair, an active Socialist, succeeded in having prayer removed from public schools in 1963.  In 1995 an researcher who had worked for the Department of Education under Reagan (and whose name I can no longer remember) gave a presentation in which she pointed out two very significant things.  First, the Department of Education under Clinton had mandated that every school district in the US, over 13,000 of them, was to form a committee, develop and file a mission statement with the Department.  She found that ALL of them were virtually identical with only a few words difference between them.  This is statistically impossible and is clear evidence of a central mind organizing and directing the whole exercise across the entire country.  Second, she analyzed the curricula and found that it was optimized to limit or exclude critical thinking and inculcate conformity and compliance.

In 1960 America led the world in education, and California led the nation.  Today the US is somewhere between 25th and 37th in the world, and California is 47th in the nation.  Our kids were having trouble keeping up even before the disaster of Bill Gates’ eight year Common Core experiment.  With the universal adoption of the Socialist Howard Zinn’s A People’s History of the United States, despite furious objections of historians, future Americans are taught to despise American history and culture.  Today the bleeding edge in education is gender theory, undermining the very concept of normal human relations in society.  Increasingly our youth know all about sexual deviancy but can’t read or write, and therefore are absolutely unqualified for employment in our technological world.

When the process of demoralization is complete the citizens of a given nation regard their country with contempt and indifference, they no longer support or promote its values if they even know them at all.  They see nothing worth advancing, nothing worth preserving, nothing worth defending.  They no longer see themselves as a valiant extension of a noble past or the guardians of a tradition to pass on to the next generation.  They don’t support the government, are cynical about the nation’s institutions and withdraw from purposeful participation in the nation’s life.  They accept the status quo not because they prefer it but because no viable alternative presents itself, they go along to get along, they have no firm foundation and feel no loyalty to the existing order.

If any doubt that things have changed in education in the last century, consider the 8th grade final exam at right.  The later stages of demoralization provide the lead in to destabilization which I will discuss in the next article in this series.

Delayed Update on Coronavirus Pandemic in the US

James E. Enstrom
Jeffrey D. Klausner

By James E. Enstrom, PhD, MPH, FFACE SCRW&M Science and Environment Chair and Retired UCLA Research Professor (epidemiologist and physicist) and Jeffrey D. Klausner, MD, professor of epidemiology at the UCLA Fielding School of Public Health and in the Division of Infectious Diseases and the Program in Global Health at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA.

This piece ran in the Los Angeles Daily News on April 12, 2020.

The novel coronavirus has spread in the United States since early March, igniting epidemics in some major cities like New York City, New Orleans and Detroit.  Many of the outbreaks have increased rapidly, peaked, and some have now declined. Despite the worst fears, the virus has not spread broadly in the general population.

As of April 10, there have been about 475,000 cases and 17,000 deaths reported in the country.  In California, there have been about 20,000 cases and 550 deaths, equivalent to rates of 51 cases and 1.4 deaths per 100,000 California residents.  California is currently ranked 30th of 50 states, with a death rate that is about one-quarter of the national rate.

Within California, COVID-19 risk varies substantially by county. About 90 percent of the cases and deaths have occurred in 14 mostly urban counties, particularly Los Angeles, Santa Clara, San Diego and Riverside counties. In the 44 remaining counties, which are mostly rural and less densely populated, the case and death rates are less than half of the overall California rates and are among the lowest in the entire U.S.

Since April 1, new cases have been relatively steady with increases likely due to more testing rather than increased transmission. Our hospital systems have been preparing for weeks. We have seen increases in COVID-19 admissions and cases in intensive care units, but currently our system capacity to manage those cases has been quite adequate.

The number of COVID-19 deaths have been much less than the 750 total deaths that occur every day in California.  Furthermore, there is evidence that there have been substantial reductions in the deaths due to seasonal flu, pneumonia and accidents because of the almost exclusive focus on COVID-19 and the current statewide lockdown. Thus, it is possible that there has been no increase in the normal number of total daily deaths. Given the massive societal disruption of the statewide lockdown, it is important to assess the overall mortality statistics.

Many of the predictions on the frequency and impact of COVID-19 in California have been based on statistical models. Indeed, the University of Washington’s Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation (IHME) Model has overestimated the COVID-19 death and hospitalization rates. The total number of IHME-projected COVID-19 deaths in California has been reduced by nearly 75 percent from the March 26 estimate of 6,100 to the April 7 estimate of 1,611.  Similarly, the projected peak number of hospital beds needed for COVID-19 patients each day has been reduced from 15,000 to 5,000.

The current statewide shelter-at-home approach might have been justified in the absence of actual data based on the substantial fears of viral spread within the general population, but now that policy appears to be an overreaction failing to account for the observed frequency and distribution of cases. Those most at risk are the elderly and those with existing chronic conditions. Indeed, among the persons hospitalized with COVID-19, 86 percent of those aged 18-64 years and 94 percent of those aged 65-plus years have at least one underlying medical condition.

We should be updating our response to the epidemic in California with a localized public health approach focused on protecting the elderly and those with chronic conditions.  We must increase

testing, isolation and contact notification activities.  We can continue to emphasize lower-cost personal behavior changes such as staying at home for work or school if ill, covering coughs or sneezes, avoiding those currently with respiratory symptoms and handwashing. We must greatly increase case finding through unrestricted and expanded free testing for anyone who wants a test, symptomatic or not. And we must approve the use of home-collection to enable the safe and easy delivery of testing kits and return of specimens to laboratories through the mail.

We should scale up technological solutions that facilitate registration for testing and timely online confidential access to test results and contact notification. We should limit the duration of quarantine by utilizing tests that detect the virus to enable those who test negative to return to work or school.  Furthermore, we should lift restrictions that have little theoretical value such as closed beaches, parks, tennis courts and hiking trails.

Because of the epidemiologic characteristics of the novel coronavirus — the relatively short duration of infectiousness (~ 8 days) and low proportion of asymptomatic infection — there is low potential of COVID-19 to cause epidemic spread in the general population.  While original models predicted massive spread resulting in infection of more than 50 percent of the general population, that has not occurred in any area.

Now that our understanding of how the virus spreads is improving, it is time to let the data inform an updated response.
Our resources to control the coronavirus epidemic have increased.  We need to use them strategically, protect the vulnerable and enable Californians in low-transmission areas to get back to work and school.  We can monitor the frequency of new cases and hospital admissions and adapt interventions based on the burden of infection in a given population to maintain our health system capacity.

Like any response to an emergency, our response must be data-driven and not fueled by panic. We must use the data available to support an updated approach rather than continuing indefinite stay-at-home orders and prolonged quarantine.

And then there’s this:

A kindhearted lady objects, w/ response

The Cause:

(Email subject line:) Are you sick and tired of that worthless munch button Adam ‘Pencil Neck’ Schiff?
Eric Early now has a regular weekly radio show. Pencil Neck Schiff only talks when he’s grandstanding in DC, Eric Early talks to the people.
What refreshing difference!

The Objection:

I’m a Republican for several years now and I support your efforts to help our nation towards a better future.  But I need to let you know that I absolutely detest name-calling of anyone in the political arena or any arena, even though, for example, I also absolutely detested Rep. Schiff’s actions in the past and current year during impeachment hearings, etc.  But how can we uplift our nation if we demean anyone in the public eye with silly and cruel “nicknames.”  It seems wrong to me and it also becomes a horrible role-model for our children and young-people who will emulate this style of communication one day.  Isn’t there a better way of communicating?  I know President Trump used this style in his initial 2016 campaign, and I think President Trump is doing a wonderful job for America and is a very good man which makes me think so highly of him.   We’re all imperfect, aren’t we? — but I intensely disliked President Trump’s style of name-calling so continually in 2016.  I confess I myself give vent to the term “idiots!” in private in occasional heated moments when the Democrats drive me up the wall and back or I view other acts of idiocy in the world.

Seriously, name-calling humiliates people in front of their families and friends; belittling appearance, belittling people with physical or mental disabilities such as early-stage Alzheimer’s demeans them, dehumanizes them, and is so extremely hurtful.  Can’t we who know better do better than this?  We can still continue to strongly communicate disagreement and criticisms without demeaning  or cruelly tormenting any human being.
to sum up, I don’t like your ad above.  But I continue to support Republican efforts.  We surely need Republican leadership in California official offices.  Thanks for listening.  And I appreciate voting guides for elections. although I live in WS.  I looked for a voting guide in the last primary election but couldn’t locate anything.

The Response:

Dear A;

Thank you for your thoughtful remarks, I assure you they have been well received.  I partially agree with you.  We live in a civilization that values civil discourse, and believes that every human being is intrinsically valuable in themselves, thus deserving of courteous treatment.  I love this about us Americans, and would wish it more universally practiced.  Alas, common courtesy has, like common sense, become a vanishingly rare virtue.  I regret any distress we, as a club, and I as an author writing on behalf of the [Club], may have caused you.

It is my view that we have only recently woken up to the fact that we are in a war not of our choosing with forces whose goals are inimical to the continued welfare and even survival of our American Republic.  Unfortunately the Democratic Party has become aligned with these forces, which is why I, at any rate, so bitterly oppose them, their policies, aims and methods.  I am not in a position to make any great claim to wisdom, my claims are modest, and, I hope, bounded by what I actually know.  Because I have been an avid reader since childhood I have an unusual understanding of history, including military history and the history of Communism in the 20th century.  This understanding is the basis of my growing alarm regarding the cultural and political trends in the US over the last few decades.

Because I absolutely do not want to see this struggle devolve into general and unrestricted violence (as civil wars tend to do) it must be conducted with words.  Words which convey ideas, ours, which we wish to see triumph, and theirs, which we wish to defeat.  We must absolutely confront their ideas with ours and argue passionately; intellectually they cannot hold a candle to us.  If the argument were conducted solely on the basis of reason and logic they would have to retreat with their collective tail between their legs.  But knowing that they cannot prevail on rational grounds they shift the argument to the emotions, which are much more easily manipulated.  Good salesmen know that people do not buy based on reason, they buy based on emotion.  In this regard the Democrats have us beat hollow, sad to say.

The propaganda side of war has always been about elevating our side and diminishing their side in the hearts and minds of the people.  Throughout history each side has defined itself as fully, virtuously human while dehumanizing and demonizing the enemy.  President Trump understands this, perhaps on an instinctual level.  In his rhetoric America and Americans are always, Great!  Big!  Beautiful!  Special!  Wonderful!  While his opponents are reduced by demeaning nicknames: Crooked Hillary, Lying Ted, Little Marco, Pencil Neck Schiff, etc.  This is a battle tactic designed to make his opponents less attractive, less authoritative, less respectable, less believable, less trustable.  You may have noticed that once he’s proved his point and won he moves his former opponents into the “good guys” column.  You might have also noticed that while the Democrats call for civility their rhetoric is anything but.  That is because they are fighting to win.

As a Vietnam combat veteran I can tell you first hand that war is an ugly business.  I volunteered because defending the Vietnamese people against a Communist victory, a victory of evil. was worth risking my health and life for.  Almost fifty years later I am still bitter about the betrayal of the Vietnamese people by the Democrat Congress of 1974.  You can only imagine my horror at discovering an impending Communist win in America.  I am no longer called upon to serve the guns to rain hot death with fire and thunder on America’s enemies, now my weapons are words and my aim is victory.  If I thought we could win against the Democrats with mild words of sweet reason, compromise and kindness I would use them.  They have been tried by many others and consistently failed.  They are ineffective against our common foe.

So i can make you a couple of promises, Anne.  First, I will always avoid the use of obscene and crassly vulgar language.  Second, I will to the best of my ability use the full force and power of the English language in service of an American victory.  This means that when apposite I will savage the Democrats using mockery, derision and laughter to expose them, humiliate them, undercut their credibility and reduce them to impotent rage (because when people are enraged they make stupid mistakes which can be exploited, something which President Trump does well).  Given your very understandable sensitivities, the mark of an educated and cultured person, I do not ask or expect you to enjoy the battle of words any more that I would ask or expect you to enjoy witnessing appalling cruelties men inflicted and endured during the battles in the jungles of Vietnam.  I do ask you, dear Anne, to support us, averting your eyes as needed, as we do the dirty work of hammering the proponents of these evil ideologies, to forge with God’s help a stronger and cleaner and holier America.

P.S.  I recommend this to your attention:

Ending the Great Hunkering

If there is one thing that these last few weeks have illustrated it is that whatever else is going on it isn’t business as usual.  Nearly the entire nation has been put in house arrest, locked in by terror, a terror fed hour by hour by the mainstream propaganda outlets.  All the while our businesses are dying and the jobs that sustain our livelihoods are evaporating by the million.

In my penultimate post I laid out the case for believing that the entire premise of the Wuhan flu is wrong.  In my last post I suggested possible causes for what we are undergoing and pointed out that we are committing economic suicide.  At the end of that post I wrote, “And if the government at whatever level will not officially give the word, then let We the People exercise our civic responsibility and practice civil disobedience, and JUST DO IT.”

There has been noise lately about a “plan to open the country” for business after this long, useless and highly destructive Great Hunkering.  Presumably these will be super geniuses with planetary brains that planned the partial shut down in the first place.  It was they who designated which were “vital” industries and workers and which had to be sent away to house arrest.  Now all those economic illiterates who have been clamoring for  Socialism with its planned economies are getting their first lessons in Marxism 101.

Millions of gallons of milk are being poured down the drain while consumers clamor for milk.  Millions of eggs are broken ind thrown away at the egg farms while eggs are hard to find at the store.  Millions of pounds of fruits and vegetables lie rotting in the fields.  Toilet paper shortages have become legend.  And this is just the beginning.  Meat packing plants are shutting down because their regular buyers are not buying.  Rural and suburban hospitals are shutting down because there are not enough patients.  All because governments at all levels, Federal, State and local are making decisions about who wins and who loses, based on what they “know” (and who they know will be most generous in return for a favor).

Now these mega brains are going to tell us how to start our business up again?  I predict a shortage of popcorn; it would be hysterical if it weren’t so horrifying.  Because, of course, some politician whose skill  set is lying while log rolling knows better than you or I what we need to do to get back on our feet and working again.  They will issue rules to the bureaucrats who will totally understand our unique situations and be completely flexible and helpful.  Yes, and I understand there are new hiring guidelines for expanding the Fairy Godmother Department so that even hetero cis females of age can apply.  You do believe me, don’t you?  Its gonna be great!

Meanwhile, as the nation’s productive sector faces ruin the Democrats held us all hostage because it would be a pity to waste such a lovely crisis.  To say that they acted like vultures would be blood libel against vultures who at least wait till their meal is dead before ripping it’s guts out.  No, they demanded our consent to having our guts ripped out if we were to receive any of the help we need at all.  I can only assume that the only reason the Republicans went along with it was the dire necessity of providing for the survival of the nations’s small businesses.

“Nice business you got there, Citizen.  It would sure be a shame if anything were to happen to it.  What’s it gonna cost?  Look, I’ll make it easy for you because I like you.  All I need from you is to trust me with your vote, the keys to your house and the password to your bank account.  Oh, and wear this ankle bracelet.  Its only temporary, we’ll take it off when the situation is normalized.  We pinkie promise.”

They held American businesses and the livelihoods of all who depend on them hostage to their demands for even more – MORE! – legislation enacting their leftist, anti civilizational agenda.  None of it actually benefits small businesses and their employees, none of it has anything to do with

It was rape, pure and simple, and having raped America once last week they raped us again this week.  I’ll wager that they already have plans underway as to how to rape us again next week.

If there was anyone in the world who still believed that the Democratic Party intended to honor the oath they took on assuming office to “support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter,” they are now disabused.  If not the Constitution, to what allegiance are they bound?  Its not to us.

The Constitution does not bind us in a suicide pact.  We do have the right to petition for redress of grievances, as Governor Gretchen Whitmer is discovering.  In the present crisis the idea that government is going to “manage” the restarting of the economy is at least as frightening as the cause of the shut down in the first place.  Businesses that are still capable of operating know how to operate their businesses and should be allowed to do so unhindered by excessive government regulation and control.

Which is not to say that some oversight is not required.  In particular convalescent hospitals need to be looked at much more carefully.  Most of the deaths are in the older population and seem to be coming from people in these institutions.  These are not the most sanitary places as anyone with a nose can attest.  Any opening for business will need to hedge these places about with special care.

A very valuable lesson learned is that outsourcing production overseas is at best a risky way of doing business and that a great deal of manufacturing will need to return to our own shores.  Tax holidays and grants to repatriating industries are certainly in order.  A tax holiday for anybody laid off as a result of the lockdown might also be a good idea.

But as we have seen, give some people a little power and they can’t help going overboard and controlling things to destruction, or insanity, Governor Whitmer case in point.  The longer this lockdown continues the worse it is going to get.  It is time to reopen now.  Given what we now know about the data we should have ended the lockdown weeks ago.  All the special rules and restrictions on individual liberty must be rescinded in their entirety once this is over.

Businesses can begin the process of opening again to the extent that they can even if permission has not been granted by the local or State authorities.  If local officials object local businesses can very well band together and present those officials with the hard reality that businesses and the jobs they create are the foundation of the tax base that sustains all government and government services.  And, unless the Democrats get their way with national vote by mail and vote harvesting, elections are just around the corner and memories of recent events will be fresh.

It is not the case that the entire economy has come to a standstill, parts are still functioning and these will act as a leaven on the rest.  It will be a scramble, there will be shortages and many things will limp for a time.  There will be shortages, there will be frustration and disappointment.  We are Americans and if there is one thing that Americans do better than anybody else in the world it is figuring out how to get things done.

Let’s end the lockdowns now and get on with the job at hand, making America great again.

Strategic conquest of America part 1

On January 10, 1963 the forty five current goals of the Communist Party as excerpted from The Naked Communist by W. Leon Skousen were read into the Congressional Record.  Are there any goals on that list that have not been championed by the Democratic Party?  Are there any which remain to be accomplished?  If then the Democratic Party is the vehicle by which Communist goals have been implemented in the United States, it therefore follows that the Democratic Party has become the Communist Party in all but name.  It is no wonder then that the DNC allowed Bernie Sanders, an open and avowed Socialist (which is nothing but a Communist half way out of the closet) to run for President under their auspices.

Prior to the collapse of the Soviet Union ComIntern (Communism International) had made it clear that their goal was to bring the entire globe under the domination of the Marxist Leninist system.  This was no secret which is why when President Franklin Roosevelt restored diplomatic relations with the Soviet Union in 1933 one of the terms of the agreement was that the USSR would not attempt to foment a Communist revolution in the United States.  As with all their treaties the USSR violated this one too and continued to offer material support to and effectively control the Communist Party in the USA.  The subversion of America has continued from that day to this.

The KGB defector Yuri Bezmenov outlined how that subversion was to take place  in considerable detail in a presentation in Los Angeles in 1983 or 1984.  The ultimate goal is the removal of the current system of government and its replacement with a Socialist or Communist form of government.  The Soviets had it down to a science.  It should not be thought that because the USSR collapsed in 1991 that their goals have disappeared.  They trained cadres all over the world, and those in turn have trained others, modern true believers have taken up the October Revolution’s torch and are carrying it forward today.

AOC, her Squad colleagues and her handlers are not an anomaly, we are going to see several more of her ilk running for and winning seats in offices all over the country during the 2020 election season.  They will be running on radical leftist platforms antithetical to the American Constitution.  Groups such as Brand New Congress, Justice Democrats and Antifa are some of the organizations which are part of this movement.  These people have an identical set of goals, they think alike, they plan together and they act in concert.  These four traits make even a relatively small number disproportionately effective.

If the aim of these movements is the transformation of the American experiment in self government into a totalitarian, collectivist police state it is going to be necessary for Patriots committed to the preservation of our Constitutional Republic to study our Marxist enemies in order to defeat them.  We need to understand their goals, their strategy, their tactics and the weapons they use.  Until we do we will continue to cede the initiative to our foes, be late for every battle, surrender every contest, be out maneuvered, out gunned, out of luck, and soon, out of the freedom that our founding fathers pledged their lives, their fortunes and their sacred honor to secure.

As necessary as knowledge and understanding are they are not enough. It is necessary to be willing to actually enter the fray rather than standing aloof and complaining about what is being done to us.  And this is hard to do.  In his book Civilization and its Enemies Lee Harris explains why this is so.

Barbarians have a great advantage over civilizations: they are not bound by the rules of civility.  A barbarian will walk up to a civilized man and not hesitate to thrust a knife in his belly knowing full well that the civilized man will not believe that such a thing could ever happen.  Consequently he won’t defend himself effectively.  The civilized man sees anyone he comes across as a civilized person who will treat him with the same courtesy he himself automatically extends.  Even as he falls in a puddle of his own gore he will not believe what is happening to him and will at most protest the injustice of the act.  The barbarian laughs and plunders the corpse.  The witnesses recoil in horror but promptly make themselves scarce.  Uncounted numbers of civilizations have died like this, and ours stands fair to join them.

We cannot continue to play by the the Marquess of Queensberry rules and expect to win anything but the scorn of our enemies.  Recently one of the Club emails we referred to Adam Schiff as Pencil Neck.  Someone objected that referring to our opponents in derogatory terms was inappropriate because it lowered us to their level.  Such a person, I am sorry to say, is not prepared for the fight.  Our men did not fight the Wehrmacht with Nerf guns for a reason: they intended to win.

Click photo for video

Which is not to suggest that Patriots should go postal.  The American Left early on realized that terrorist violence was counterproductive, and held that stance until the creation of Antifa.  A tenacious, robust and vigorous opposition need not be violent.  Andrew Breitbart demonstrated that; the people of Michigan and Huntington Beach are demonstrating that today.  The silent majority tacitly enabled the Marxist agenda by their silence.  The first rule of political opposition is don’t be silent, don’t allow yourself to be silenced.  Let no opportunity to speak up pass in silence.  At the very least say, “Oh, come on!  You don’t really expect me to believe that, do you?”

Having long since met their 1958 goals in America the radical left with their Marxist agenda have moved on to other issues.  Now we must fight for the integrity of our borders, for the integrity of our personal information, for the right to defend our lives,  for the right to practice our religion of choice, for the physical, moral and spiritual integrity of our children, for our right to be free.  The Democrat Party leads the effort to liberate us from our rights and our freedoms, from our dreams for the future and for our very lives.  Whether or not they succeed is going to be up to what we do, not what we say among ourselves or what we think in the depths of our hears.

Communism is an ideology of death.  We must defeat it or die trying.  Future columns will examine these matters in greater detail.

Yuri Bezmenov

You may say to yourselves, “How can we know when a message has not been spoken by the Lord?” If what a prophet proclaims in the name of the Lord does not take place or come true, that is a message the Lord has not spoken. That prophet has spoken presumptuously, so do not be alarmed.  Deut 18:21-22

On the other hand, it it does come true …

We had to destroy the Republic to save it

In the last post I concluded the essay, The Wuhan virus pandemic: a scam? with 10 questions, this is the tenth.

The Wuhan virus is a real virus and the effects of the contagion are catastrophic for a small fraction of the population.  The response to the epidemic is irrational and the destructive consequences clearly foreseeable, yet the measures being enacted are pursued with vigor and determination.  Why?  Who benefits?

Why?  Who benefits?  This essay will attempt at least a partial answer to those questions.

It is a well known fact that every time there is a Republican in the White House the Democrats and their hangers on lose their collective minds and throw a multi year spittle-flecked, falling on the floor, kicking and pounding the ground, obscenity laced, screaming conniption fit.  In President Trump’s case this includes an additional cadre of RINO useful idiots.  RINOs typically pretend to be real Republicans then betray their Party when their votes are most needed to stop some Democrat lunacy from going forward.  Never have I seen such obdurate opposition from within Republican and “conservative” ranks.

So the first suspects are, as always, the Democrats.  They have shown themselves willing to advance the most outlandish schemes in an effort to disqualify this President, undermine his candidacy prior to the 2016 election, hamstring his administration and have him removed from office once in.  They incited violence at his rallies and at his Inauguration, created a fake Pee-pee dossier, commissioned a false collusion narrative, attempted to invoke the 25th amendment, attempted an impeachment on no grounds and now want an investigation of his handling of the crisis capped with a demand for more Leftist pork in the relief bills – or else.  Given this consistently subversive behavior the mind is naturally inclined to seek accountability from that quarter.

Except that this crisis first reared its ugly head in the city of Wuhan in the People’s Republic of China when the Chinese Communist Party attempted to hide the outbreak of a viral epidemic.  Surely this is an act of Chinese incompetence and stupidity which cannot be laid at the feet of the Donks.  I think it pretty certain that the only thing that the CCP and DNC have in common are an unquenchable lust for absolute power and a fanatical dedication to the Cult of Marx and Lenin.

At this time I am inclined to think that the release of the corona virus in Wuhan was accidental.  I say “at this time” because it is known that China’s strategy for world domination involves the use of biological warfare.  There is no doubt in my mind that they intend to unleash a variety of tailored germs into the world at a time of their choosing, a time when they could hope reap the greatest gains at the lowest possible cost.  That time is not yet, the rest of the world is still pretty frisky and would put up more of a struggle than they might be able to handle.  They are patient (as we are not) and will bide their time (where we demand ‘Action Now!’).

But I can well believe that, the virus being on the loose and none but they yet aware of it, might realize that it would do enormous damage to their society and thereby retard their plans by some considerable measure.  The consequence of that would be that China would lose ground to the rest of the world, and particularly to “the principal enemy,” the United States.  So by a certain amoral standard they might devise a strategy whereby the whole world would suffer as much as they and China would not lose its relative position.  So maybe they just kept the Wuhan situation under wraps while sending unwitting ambassadors of contagion to all the world, just to equalize things going forward.

I could well believe such a scenario, but that does not mean that it is true nor does it explain what our government is doing in quarantining the whole country and collapsing the economy.  The CCP would certainly be thrilled were they able to pull off such a scheme and trick the US into committing suicide.  But it is a very long shot and the risks are not just high, they are potentially catastrophic.  But they ARE thrilled that we seem to have hit upon this policy all on our own and are happy to cheer us on.  Now that the US and the world are undergoing the trial by virus China claims to have beat it and presents itself as a model to be admired and  imitated by the entire globe.

Nor can I believe that the Democrats would deliberately destroy the whole country to rid themselves of Donald Trump.  They want control of the US economy, the goose that lays the golden eggs, they don’t want to preside at its funeral and pick over it’s carcass.  To be sure, they will leverage this crisis to advance their agenda, that in itself would be devastating enough, but their agenda is power and control, loot and rule, not rebuild and scavenge.

Like their fellow travelers, the Chinese Communist Party, the Democrats are delighted that these evil days should come during a Republican administration.  You can bet that while they proclaim solidarity with and demand handouts from a suffering nation, behind closed doors they are plotting and scheming how to leverage our national agony into electoral victory.  The demand for safety “justifies” advocating for universal vote-by-mail elections come November.  Victory without fraud is just no fun, but defeat is a proven total bummer.  Defeat is just what they are facing on that fateful first Tuesday, and they are determined not to suffer defeat again – ever.  We’ve seen this before and we’ll see it forever more – if we permit it.

If viral outbreaks are merely a part of the cycle of life on this planet, and they are, and responsibility for this one cannot be laid at the feet of any human agency, then we need to look into the response the disease to answer our questions.  Across the world the response has ranged from exemplary (Taiwan) to crude and brutal (China) with various measures of competence and effectiveness in between.  As we have seen from the previous article in this series the American response has not been stellar.

Shortly after the outbreak in China was finally made public Dr. Anthony Fauci, head of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) since 1984 said on January 25, 2020:

“It’s a very, very low risk to the United States,” Fauci said during an interview with radio show host John Catsimatidis.
“But it’s something that we as public health officials need to take very seriously… It isn’t something the American public needs to worry about or be frightened about. Because we have ways of preparing and screening of people coming in [from China]. And we have ways of responding – like we did with this one case in Seattle, Washington, who had traveled to China and brought back the infection.”

He has since changed his tune.  When President Trump created and set Vice President Pence in charge of the COVID-19 Task Force a couple of days later, he included Dr. Fauci and Dr. Deborah Birx in the team, at Vice President Pence’s insistence.  All three of these are or have been members of the President’s Emergency Plan for Aids Relief (PEPFAR), established in 2000.  PEPFAR disburses billions of dollars in grants to various agencies internationally helping infected people cope with AIDS.  In fact, Dr. Birx, who was appointed by President Obama to serve as U.S. Global AIDS Coordinator & U.S. Special Representative for Global Health Diplomacy in which capacity she oversees the implementation of PEPFAR and all US engagement with the Gobal Fund.  Dr. Birx, whose medical license is expired, also sits on the board of the Global Fund to fight Tuberculosis, AIDS and Malaria.  In addition to government grants, the Bill and Melinda  Gates Foundation donates very generously to the Global Fund, which is managed by the UN and is not transparent to outside agencies, including its donor nations.

In January 2019 Dr. Birx increased the PEPFAR allocation to Ukraine through Ambassador Marie Yovanovich by 66% to $30,000,000.  That was  before President Trump fired Ambassador Yovanovich in May and before the impeachment attempt at which the Ambassador testified.  AIDS charities in Ukraine have been bedeviled by corruption scandals. Not uncommonly between 66% and 75% of funds get embezzled for other projects, including some of George Soros funded organizations.

On October 18, 2019 Bill Gates in conjunction with the World Economic Forum held a pandemic planning exercise in New York called Event 201Dr. Fauci and Dr. Birx both have close ties to the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and, no surprise at this point, a conflict of interestAlthough Gates refused to have his own children vaccinated he has become probably the world’s leading advocate for universal vaccinations.  Is it perhaps for this reason that Dr. Fauci and Dr. Birx were so negative on Dr. Zelelko’s hydroxychloroquine / with Zinc cocktail, advocating for developing a vaccination instead?  Hydroxychloroquine is cheap and off patent, but there’s money in taxpayer funded vaccine development.

The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, George Soros, the World Economic Forum, the World Health Organization and the United Nations, it all reeks of our self appointed wanna-be One World Masters.  These are the Davos elites the new aristocrats who dream of bestriding the planet with their superior, progressive vision, the Davos elites that despise us, the Deplorables (TM), who cling to our Bibles and our guns.  These sanctimonious Citizens of the World who clamor for a borderless world in which they are the Great and Good that guide us like cattle to a bright, managed, equitable future with which must perforce be not only satisfied but grateful.

I will suggest that it is these who, pulling strings high in the background where we cannot see them, cannot know them and certainly can never hold them accountable, who are responsible for this Wuhan virus panic.  They would be only too happy to engineer the downfall of advocates of national sovereignty like President Trump, and this America whose sovereign citizens are imbued by our Creator with inalienable individual rights minimally codified in the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.  Davos Man sees China’s totalitarian police state as a better model of government for their Brave New World than the United States of America, as their paid propagandists have so often told us.  These are the same paid mouthpieces that created and sustain the Wuhan Flu panic and are keeping millions of Americans under house arrest.

Every day that the lockdown is in place thousands more small businesses collapse never to reopen, their former employees now unemployed.  Worse, most are in some kind of debt, whether it be their credit cards, their car loans or their mortgages which they now cannot pay.  That will cascade up through their creditors, and some of them will go under.  Meanwhile these billionaire vultures will wait and swoop down on bankrupt businesses and financially broken families and snap up their devalued assets at bargain basement prices, just like they did following the housing crash twelve years ago.  Americans will be reduced to beggary and the soul crushing  dependence of the destitute.  The American Dream will become the hope for the opportunity to sell our freedom for a crust of bread, and actually finding the bread.

America needs to go back to work, to do otherwise is national suicide.  And if the government at whatever level will not officially give the word, then let We the People exercise our civic responsibility and practice civil disobedience, and JUST DO IT.

The Wuhan virus pandemic: a scam?

Why do I believe we are being scammed? In short, the numbers don’t work, that is, they don’t fit the model. Numbers don’t lie, so the model is wrong.  What we are doing doesn’t make any sense.

1. Diamond Princess, perfect petri dish. Over three thousand five hundred people cooped up on that ship for weeks. 550+ tested positive, six died.
If some tested positive, then, given the nature of viruses and how they are transmitted, how is it possible that not all were positive for the virus? One famous couple living for weeks in their tiny stateroom, one got it, one didn’t  (1) . That is not possible.  Unless …
Unless one already had immunity to the virus. But this is a Novel Corona virus, so where did the immunity come from, given that the only way to get immunity it to have had the disease and recovered from it?  Over two thousand people on the Diamond Princess did not have the virus, so where did they all get immunity?
Was the Wuhan virus already circulating worldwide while the Chinese Communist government was still trying to hush it up?  We know know that 80%  of people who contract the virus show no or mild symptoms, and 20% show moderate to catastrophic symptoms, primarily the aged, people with weakened immune systems and people with co-morbidities such as emphysema.  Had the Wuhan virus already spread widely through the general population and we didn’t notice because it acted like a regular flu during flu season?  80% of the people who presented with severe flu this winter (2019-2020) and were tested did not have the expected Flu-A or Flu-B.  What did they have?  Nobody knows and nobody’s asking.  It is too late now to find out.  Remember this, it is important.

2. So how to explain all the Chinese dropping dead in the street?  The Chinese people are subject to several conditions that did not improve their resistance to the virus.  Most large cities are wrapped in a deep layer of really awful air pollution, many of their inhabitants have not seen the sun in over 30 years.  Further, cigarette smoking is common.  These two facts tell us that their lungs are to a great degree compromised.  The Wuhan virus particularly affects the lungs, and the onset is known to be quite sudden.
There are a number of common drugs that are now known to potentiate the virus, that is, to make the virus’ effects more potent.  Among them are common anti-inflammatory drugs ibuprofen, an ingredient common to aspirin, Advil, Bufferin, etc.  Tylenol uses a different method of reducing pain and inflammation and is known to be safe in most instances.  Nicotine potentiates it too.  Another substance that potentiates the virus is steroids.  In China many medications contain steroids, which is not the case in most of the rest of the world.  Italy’s industrial heartland is in the north, they have terrible air pollution, smoke like chimneys and have the oldest population in Europe, this is why it was so bad there.  Remember this, it is important.

3. The virus basically creates pneumonia, filing the lungs with fluid and preventing oxygenation of the blood.  When the lungs  can no longer force enough oxygen into the bloodstream mechanical systems called ventilators are used to oxygenate the blood, essentially breathing for the patient.  Under normal circumstances anyone who is placed in a medical coma and has a tube shoved down their throat to force breathing, can expect to get off the ventilator alive about half the time (49%). (2)   Even so, under normal circumstances someone who gets off the ventilator alive stands only a 30% chance of surviving another year.  The very best anyone who goes on a ventilator can expect is a 15% chance of survival.  the Chinese who have this same technology achieved only a 5% survival rate with their Wuhan flu patients.  We would likely do a little better.  More ventilators are not the answer, even if we had the trained technicians to use them; we don’t.  More on that below.  Remember this, it is important.

4. The RO of this virus is about 3.  RO refers to the rate of infection, how many people will an infected person infect in turn.  Most flus have an RO of about 1.5, measles has an RO of 5, highly infectious.  The spread is exponential and gets really large really fast.  It will continue to spread as long as there are non-immune  hosts to be infected.  Once a majority of the population recovers the disease begins to run out of hosts and burns out.

Let’s again look at the series if we do nothing, starting with 1 case.  Each “cycle” or “generation time” is 5 days (from when you get infected until you are infecting other people) [here assumed to be RO 2.7, h/t Karl Deninger at Market Ticker]
58,149,737 <<<< — Aw ****

Theoretically social distancing will knock the RO down, once you get an RO of 1 or less, the epidemic stops.  If it remains above 1 the epidemic spreads, more slowly, but it still spreads.  For over two weeks we have been practicing social distancing but it has only dropped the RO to about 2.4 or 2.5.  It is not working, numbers cannot lie.  This means, as Dr. Birx admitted last week, that there is a problem with our model of how this bug spreads.  Remember this, it is important.

5.  It is estimated that there are about one million varieties of virus in the world, of which only a few thousand affect humans.  We have succeeded in exterminating only two of these: smallpox and rinderpest (affects cattle); we are close to exterminating polio.  Viruses mutate rather rapidly, which is why every year we get one or more new varieties of flu.  The flu kills between 15,000 to 80,000 in the U.S. every year.  Two years ago, 2017-18 was bad, 80,000. The likelihood of a vaccine being developed for the Wuhan flu is slim to nil, certainly not in time to do us any good.  The Wuhan flu seems to kill at a slightly higher rate than the average annual flu, so we may actually see Dr. Fauci’s 100,000 dead, about double the average annual death toll from the annual flu.  Bear in mind that about 7,700 people die every day from all causes. there is no reason to think of the number of deaths from Wuhan flu to be all that shocking when taken in the context of ordinary rates of mortality.  Nobody gets out of this world alive, eventually something will kill us all.  As with deaths associated with ordinary flu, Wuhan flu deaths often occur when someone’s capacity for fighting disease is reduced due to a previous disease such as diabetes or emphysema, or immune systems compromised by other circumstances such as radiation or chemo therapy.  Such people can easily be, and often are, brought to crisis and death by a flu.

6. If the population is pretty effectively quarantining itself (and we are) then where are all these infections coming from?  To answer that we need to look at what we are doing with those we KNOW to be infected.  We send them to the hospital where there are all kinds of people suffering from all sorts of ailments.  In fact, we send anybody with just about anything wrong with them to the hospital.
We like to think of hospitals as antiseptically clean, and of doctors and nurses as infallible professionals.  Certainly that is the way it is on TV, but it is not that way in reality.  Over 100,000 people die every year from all kinds of medical accidents and a variety of infections including the so-called super bugs.  The result is that hospitals have become epicenters of the epidemic; if you don’t have the Wuhan flu when you get there you’ll have it real soon.  In many cases doctors and nurses find that there are not adequate supplies of personal protection equipment and are sometimes required to reuse masks and gowns, which is absolutely contrary to best practice.  Sometimes they are not too attentive to the necessity of washing their hands before and after they have seen a patient or touched a piece of equipment.  And when their shift is over they go home, taking with them what they have picked up during their shift.  This is not to disparage their dedication or competence, but to note what we all know, they are only human, and sometimes under the press of circumstances their attention slips for just a moment, especially at the end of a long second shift.

So here are some questions that I have not seen adequately answered.

  1.  Why have the CDC and the NIH not followed international protocols in managing this epidemic?
    A. Standard practice is to test everybody for the disease, not just the symptomatic.  This gives more accurate knowledge as to the actual extent to which the disease is present in the population.  Where universal testing was taking place it was stopped and only the symptomatic are now tested.  Why?
    B. Why has an antibody test not been developed and made available to the public?  The nation certainly has the means to create and distribute one or several.  This gives a more accurate picture of what percentage of the population has recovered from the disease (these people are the ones best in a position to help as they cannot be re-infected, at least not with the same strain of the virus).  Clearly there are such people, see the first item on the list above.  This too is part of the standard international protocol.

  2. What took the CDC and the NIH so long to recognize the problem and react to it?  This was their one job and they bungled it.  Why did they stand in the way of private laboratories developing tests while their own efforts were so faulty?  Why were they so reluctant to approve Dr. Zelinski’s hydroxychloroquine / with Z-Pak cocktail, even when something very much like it was reportedly being used successfully in France?
  3. Why have so many governors forbidden the use of hydroxychloroquine together with Z-Pak even after it was finally approved by the FDA?
  4. Dr. Fauci acknowledged that the social distancing model is not working.  Why are we being forced to do more of it?  In fact it cannot work because even if you eliminate the virus entirely from the population it only takes one person from outside to kick start the whole process all over again.  The Chinese are just finding this out now.
  5. Why are we being whipped to such a pitch of panic over such a relatively non-lethal disease and such a small number of deaths?  It’s not just here, but all over the world as far as I can see; Dr. Bhakdi alludes to in the above video.
  6. Why are we focusing on getting more ventilators given that with Dr. Zelinski’s hydroxychloroquine and Z-Pak cocktail we can obviate the need for so many ventilators?
  7. Why are we putting the entire country out of work to attempt (and ultimately fail) to protect everybody rather than protecting only our most vulnerable?  Why are we concentrating the infection in our hospitals and then sending our most vulnerable into those epicenters of the epidemic?
  8. Why are there so many reports that hospitals are in fact not overwhelmed by Wuhan flu cases?
  9. Why are we destroying our livelihoods and our national economy when we know it will result in even more death and misery when the financial support a modern healthcare system requires collapses?

(1) Wifey developed symptoms and was removed from the cabin, husband tested negative at that time.  Some 10 days later he tested positive asymptomatic.
