Making America great again

The Founders knew well that the country they erected with the Constitution they wrote was suitable only for a Christian people, and was wholly unsuitable for any other.  Like every other part of society the Communists infiltrated the churches as part of their strategy to bring America to destruction.  Many churches have forsworn the Gospel of Jesus Christ in favor of the insidious gospel Social Justice.

This talk was given to a meeting of Catholic youth in Chicago earlier this week.  I guara-damn-tee you if even half the pulpits of the Christian churches, no matter how poorly attended, rang with this kind truth America would be turned around by Christmas 2018.

Pass it on.

Another coup attempt underway?

In the video at the bottom of the post, in the last section, Roger Stone makes a case that the next coup attempt against the Trump Presidency will focus on the 25th Amendment.  The 25th Amendment, proposed by Congress and ratified by the states in the aftermath of the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, provides the procedures for replacing the president or vice president in the event of death, removal, resignation, or incapacitation.  The full text of the 25th Amendment is at the link.

The argument is plausible.  There has been an up tick in “Trump is crazy” stories.  See;

And on and on and on.  I expect we will see more of this in the near future.  No, Trump is not out of his mind.  He is a smart guy with a lot of rough edges who doesn’t give a flying farfegnugen about the pieties of the Left.  He looked at conventional wisdom and spit in its eye.  This is the great attraction he holds for me, he simply will not buy into the unholy Progressive narrative.  It is not surprising that the Deep State will go to any lengths to silence the guy who points out that these would-be tyrants have no arguments, no facts, no sanity, no ethics, no morality and no damned right to power by dint of delusions of adequacy, let alone superiority.

And there, you see, is the key to understanding what is going on.  Trump has said again and again that one of his goals is the restoration of power to We the People.  The Socialists, Marxists, Progressives or what have you crave that power for themselves with the same single minded intensity that a heroin addict craves his next hit.  Communism, someone once said, is a theology of power.  The sum and substance of their entire project is seizing power, holding power, exercising power unrestrained by any limit in Heaven above or Hell below.

I didn’t vote for Trump because I thought he was perfect, but because I believed that he would kick the living stuffing out of self proclaimed aristocrats (can you imagine anything more abhorrent to the Founders than aristocrats?) who look down on ordinary “deplorable” liberty loving Americans like you and I.  He has done much more than the wicked Donk propagandists will ever give him credit for (You can be sure they KNOW, and hate him for it.).  He has left undone things that I consider vitally important (can anyone say “Build the damned Wall already”, and “Break up the Medical Monopolies”?).  I can’t help but feel a warm spot of joy in my heart every time I hear  them squeal when Don the Commie Stomper applies his Made in America boot to their collectivist totalitarian backsides.

One of the principal purposes of this little blog is not just to keep members of the Republican Club of the Foothills informed.  That is only the means to an end.  The real purpose is to inform Republicans so that Republicans will have the intellectual, moral and factual ammunition to shoot down cocksure liberal retards whenever they start spewing anti-American agitprop.  So pass it on, The Donald isn’t crazy, he’s just not the bought and paid for shill for the power mongering tyro wannabe soi-disant ‘elites’.

Won’t you join me in praying for the ever increasing success of his administration, the welfare of the USA, the advancement of liberty throughout the world and abiding confusion to our enemies?

Now, stay tuned for the video of Roger Stone and Stephan Molineux.

Republican Club of the Foothills President resigns

Tom Passanisi, 2017 President of the Republican Club of the Foothills has resigned.  His letter of resignation can be found at the link following.  Go read it, then come back here and lets discuss what we are going to do going forward. RCOF December 29 2017 Letter to Membership

All done?  I don’t like them apples much either, pretty devastating, in fact.  Having worked with Tom over the course of the year, I can tell you that it has been very frustrating, trying to find people to man the oars.  Now, we all know that in any organization 20% of the people do 80% of the work, this is normal.  Good people have volunteered, then dropped out because of various circumstances.  This is not to blame anybody, it is just the way it is; life happens.

The fact is, and it has been noted at the meetings, that we are a pack of old codgers all members of the Golden Years Brigade.  We have failed to attract and retain new, younger blood.  We have seen attendance at the monthly meetings plunge from nearly seventy (when I first peeked in to see what was going on in 2009, recruited by Paul Hackett) to barely thirty at the last three monthly meetings.  Board meetings were attended by eight or nine people back in the day, but for the last few months it has been only three, and sometimes two; that’s not even a quorum.

Out of airspeed, out of altitude and out of ideas, the Republican Club of the Foothills as it is currently constituted, is defunct.  Thanks to the way Tom handled the situation the Republican Club has not exploded, has not crashed, has not burned, but has managed a soft landing with all its parts intact.  I am grateful to Tom and to the other board members who made this possible.

But I am a stubborn son of a b-i-t-c-Q-waterlily, I don’t have sense enough to quit when I’m ahead (my mother always said so, and I believe her).  So I refused to resign.  I refused to consign this website to oblivion.  I refuse to give up on Republicans in the Foothills area (or anywhere else, for that matter). That is more than sheer, bloody minded obstinacy. We have the right principles, we have the right ideas and we have the right spirit.  Our country needs us as we don’t have the right to quit.

OK, now the whiskey bottle comes out, so beware!  You have been warned.

As a board member I hold the post of (per the by-laws) Member at Large with the specific task of running the web page.  That’s not very glamorous, but that is all that’s left. In this I am the servant of you guys, the We the People of the Club.  We the People need to discover and decide what it is we want to do, what we can do, what we are willing to do and what we will do.  It may well be that the Club will decide to dissolve itself, I don’t know.  It may be that the Club may decide to change its form, its purpose, its very reason for existing.  But it is you guys, the members, who must make that decision.  It is my task, as best I understand it, to help facilitate that decision.

So here is your task.  The email announcing this news will reach some members of the Club, some will even read it, and of those some will actually read this post all the way through.  Each of you guys have your own networks, reach out to them and let others know what is going on.  Discuss among yourselves.  I would love to coordinate and maintain lines of communication.  I am happy to attend any meetings that you guys set up.

Some questions for consideration:

  • What went wrong?
  • What went right?
  • What do I want as a Republican?
  • What can I offer as a Republican?
  • What do my family and friends want?
  • What does my community need that I and my friends as Republicans can provide?

For starters.  What other questions do we need to ask?  Do NOT forget to pray about the whole thing, by yourselves and with others.

If anything is going to happen it will happen because you guys want it to happen and are willing to work together to make it happen.  I have ideas of my own, but your ideas must come first.  I think that we have a wonderful opportunity to reinvent ourselves and make ourselves relevant in a way that we have not been for quite a while.

You can communicate with me by email at or you can leave a comment in the comment section below.

The ball is in your court.

There’s a mighty judgement coming

I am sure that I am not the only one who hungers and thirsts for justice for Hillary and the whole pack of Commie traitors.  No mercy for any of them, say I; they have had none for any of us, nor would have had the 2016 election turned out otherwise.  Yes, I am feeling vindictive, Lord, have mercy on me.

Seems it’s coming, and soon.

Trump has been making a list, checking it twice, he’s gonna find out who’s naughty or nice.  Consider: 1,077, normal number of annual sealed indictments; 4,188, sealed indictments as of 11/22; 9,274, sealed indictments as of 12/22.  (h/t Vox Day)

Oh, and don’t look now, but it seems that on December 29th the Arizona National Guard sent a substantial number of the 850th Military Police Battalion to Guantanamo.  The detention facilities at Naval Base at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba has a capacity of some 500 inmates, but are currently holding only about 40 Islamist bad guys Obama forgot.

Not a moment too soon.

Ringing out Socialism, 2017

Let’s just admit it, shall we?  2017 has been a yuge win for the USA.  Not perfect, by any means, but a big, tremendous, wonderful win for the nation.  Here, in this little cyber space corral we don’t allow the perfect to be the enemy of the good.  That is a Progressive tool for manipulating the weak minded into moving further to the left.  Nuts to that.

To be sure, the forces of evil (not mincing words, or anything) have not given up and are still trying to make headway.  They have been slowed, and in some places, stopped cold.  On more and wider fronts resistance to them has been growing, and ground they thought they held secure is strongly contested.  They are eating their own, as Marxists always do.  For over 50 years they have have claimed to hold the moral high ground – no longer.  They are in disarray, demonstrated not least by the odd idea that they will win big in the 2018 elections.

Thus, your humble (well, maybe not so much) correspondent, will play the prophet and say that as an act charity we should give our Leftie friends pillows.  They will need them as they are, on an even greater scale than heretofore, going to get their keisters handed to them in 2018.  Yes,  pillows upon which to rest their battered backsides, but not yet, no, wait until they cry “Uncle Sam”.  Then smile and tell them, “There, there, dear.  Reality isn’t so bad, you’ll get used to it.  Now stop your whining and suck it up.  Here,” offering the pillow, “would you like something to cushion the collapse of your delusions?”

I didn’t say anything about being nice.  For these people need to feel the pain of defeat, it is part of the cure.  Demolishing their sanctimonious mental and spiritual errors is an astringent mercy.  We do this not to personally humiliate them but to heal them, to save them from further descent into insanity, to rehabilitate them and, eventually, restore them to the fellowship of moral, patriotic, constitutional Americans.

So why am I so confident?  Many reasons, but primarily because, as Andrew Breitbart said, politics is downstream from culture; the culture is shifting.

First, the economy is picking up steam.  To be sure, the boom and bust cycle is going to continue, and we will experience some very unpleasant shocks, but we now have the momentum that will enable us to overcome them.  We’re not even one year in and already the effects are palpable.  This is a trend and it will continue.  People are better off, and their satisfaction will be measured at the polls.  All we have to do is keep our monkey wrenches to ourselves and let the Donks keep on screaming about how awful things are.  Hint: never interrupt your adversary when he is making a mistake.

Next, the sexual misconduct revelations are going to continue.  Right now the Left is having a nice little purge.  You might have noticed that it is mostly Democrats and Dem supporters who are being exposed; you are not alone.  They are having their cover pulled in a very pubic way.  I hear rumblings that what we have seen so far is just the beginning.  The bitter fruit of the sexual revolution is coming back to poison their pose of moral superiority.  No more “How dare you, sir!  Have you no shame?” from them.  This is pounding a stake right through the Left’s wizened, black heart.

The FBI’s Russia collusion investigation is *UNEXPECTEDLY!* breaking open entire sewer systems of Democratic corruption.  By allowing the probe to continue the Trump Administration has given the Progressive operatives there lots and lots of rope.  They have, predictably, overreached and now they are going to hang themselves.  I’ll bet you dollars to doughnuts that some of those people we would like to see swing are being offered the opportunity to retire with pensions in exchange for fingering their handlers rather than dace on air.  Count on it, more will be revealed, and it will be ugly.

This is not all, far from it, but rather than go on interminably, I offer a couple of vignettes on the culture.

Generation Z, those kids currently in Junior High and High School, are rebelling against the suicidal notions being pushed on them by the media and the educational propagandists.  The culture of reflexive opposition that the Left introduced into the culture fifty years ago is still being absorbed by the youth at which it was aimed; now it has been turned against them.  Increasing numbers of youth are rejecting the anti civilizational suicide pact offered by the Progs, suddenly, it is becoming cool to be Right.  Mal-educated they may be, but they are neither stupid nor blind.  Plus, there seems to be deep spiritual hunger among them *UNEXPECTEDLY!* and they are turning more towards traditional Christianity than their parents did.

Finally, the big comic book publishers are losing market share as they turn their magazines from stories of action and adventure into channels for Social Justice lectures.  In response to this one group is starting up a new super hero comic book lineup.

A new alternative comic series intended to challenge and eventually replace the SJW-converged comics of DC and Marvel. Alt★Hero is a world not too terribly different than our own…

A few months ago they asked for support on, an online capital raising site.  They ran their campaign for about six weeks.  This was the result:

A Happy and Victorious New Year to all on behalf of myself and the entire Republican Club of the Foothills.

Taking names

On December 19th Nikki Haley, the US Ambassador the the United Nations, gave notice – and not for the first time – that the United States is paying attention to who is naughty or nice.  I must say that she has been able and effective in representing American interests to that pack of foreign jackals.  This is very much in keeping with the President’s America First policies.

The President’s decision to move the American embassy to Jerusalem has been needlessly controversial.  That controversy started out as a matter between the State of Israel and the Arab population present there at Israel’s re-creation in 1948, and was later leveraged by the USSR as a propaganda tool.  What the Evil Empire (R.I.P.) began the Left has faithfully continued all these years.  Maybe if they didn’t want Jerusalem to be the capital of Israel they shouldn’t have started and lost a war or four.  Just sayin’.

Following the American victory at Yorktown the US capital was in New York, by 1792 it had been shifted to Philadelphia were it remained for a decade before moving to the new city of Washington in time for Thomas Jefferson’s inauguration in March of 1801.  It is of interest to note that the decision to locate and relocate the capital was made by the government of the United States, not by any foreign power, still less by an avowed enemy.

Every nation has the right to declare its own capital.  Israel has declared its capital to be Jerusalem, a city they hold by right of conquest.  They chose that particular city precisely because it was the ancient capital centuries before Israel was a vassal of Rome.  Ambassadors representing foreign powers are expected to exercise their duties wherever the government that accepts their credentials is located.  That the United States among others has till now refused to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and locate its embassy there is an insult to the nation of Israel.  By officially moving the US embassy in Tel Aviv to Jerusalem where it belongs he corrects a long standing mistake.

The argument that the Muslim street will rise in violence in protest is absurd.  From what I can see, as far as the Muslim street is concerned, every day is a day of self igniting rage, no spark necessary.  The Muslims are proclaiming today’s rage du jour in honor of the US embassy moving to Jerusalem.  Ho, hum.  In other news, water is wet.  What would be big news if the Muslim street proclaimed a day of peace and reconciliation.  I won’t hold my breath.

Two things are important here.  First, consistent with Trump’s America first vision, the US policy going forward will be not allow the self proclaimed international community and their duplicitous ‘higher standards’ (read, “anti American neo Marxist propaganda) to guide American policy.  A logical corollary is that this principle applies to every other nation in the world as well.

The second point is that Trump’s vision is a vision of peace and mutual cooperation.  But if anybody is going to go out of their way to mess initiate or incite violence against America, America will take note, and there will be unpleasant consequences.

Damn the torpedoes, full steam ahead.

Evidently nobody

“Evidently nobody” is the answer to the age old question, “quis custodiet ipsos custodes,” who will watch the watchmen themselves?  Given the state of confusion, collusion and corruption in the once vaunted FBI, charged with protecting the nation from foreign spies and domestic criminals, the American Republic is wandering around naked and intoxicated in a Mad Max world.

Consider the case of Robert Manson, an FBI counterterrorism supervisor, who went out drinking with strippers, took one back to his room, she steals his gun, his watch ($6,000 Rolex, no less!), and his cash, and the next morning he’s still too drunk to file the police report himself.  Shades of the Secret Service Colombia scandal.  I can only hope he is no longer employed by either the FBI or by anybody else connected with national security, but I wouldn’t be surprised if my hopes are unfounded.

Such spectacular incompetence is bad enough, particularly in these dangerous times and at these very elevated levels, but what is coming out now is, oh, so very much worse. Not, mind you, that there’s any dearth of garden variety, egregiously stupid corruption

Of the many astonishing revelations now emerging from the Russia investigation, not enough has been made of the fact that Peter Strzok — that Zelig of the FBI who mysteriously appeared at every controversial moment — was second in command for counterintelligence.

That’s right, counterintelligence — that activity “designed to prevent or thwart spying, intelligence gathering, and sabotage by an enemy or other foreign entity.”

And yet that same Mr. Strzok was conducting a clandestine extra-marital affair with an FBI colleague over thousands of text messages that could be and likely were (more of that in a moment) intercepted by those same foreign intelligence agencies — or were, at the very least, recklessly exposed to them.

Now you don’t have to be James Jesus Angleton or even have read a novel by John le Carré to know one of the most important vulnerabilities in the intel world is just such dangerous liaisons, frequently used for blackmail of all sorts.

Yet, our second in command in counterintelligence conducted his in full digital view of anyone and did so replete with idiotically extreme comments about the president of the United States that would make our Peter a prime candidate for blackmail.

Well, no wonder the FBI went easy on Hillary “What Difference Does It Make?” Clinton.  Given that she was slated to be next President and the high mortality rate among those who cross her, it would seem only prudent to go with the flow, but especially as his own idiocy placed him in a weak and vulnerable position.  Who’d ‘a thunk it?

So former FBI Director Mueller, the staunch, the incorruptible, the supremely competent, who had his finger firmly on the pulse of the FBI during the lamentable previous Administration, not only saw nothing, heard nothing, did nothing and had nothing to say about all this, but is now in charge of a plenipotentiary, unbounded investigation into the doings of his former underlings’ political nemesis.  Lordy, Lordy!  What could go wrong?

That depends on you point of view.  Something is going wrong for the Mueller investigation because after all these months and tens of millions of dollars he has turned up one low level Trump campaign worker who was fired by the campaign:  basically bupkis.  After all the Russia collusion ballyhoo the Donks are beside themselves to discover that, well, they were the ones doing all the colluding.  The double standard doesn’t allow us to call that treason, and that’s a problem too.

The bigger problem is that this is a problem that Congress created for itself when it refused to exercise its powers and prerogatives during the previous Administrations by allowing Lois Lerner to walk away, allowing her replacement, Director Koskinen to thumb his nose at them and allow James Comey to flaunt his disregard for the law.  It should never have been a case of Mueller, who is clearly a Democratic agent, being allowed to conduct a political witch hunt in the the Executive branch but rather a case of Congress hauling these malefactors before them, investigating them till their underwear smoked, charging them with contempt of Congress if they fail to appear and cooperate, then sending them to prison if found guilty.

Our government has three branches: Legislative, Executive and Judicial; they are not, contrary to common opinion, co-equal.  Congress has the authority to impeach for cause members of both the Executive and Judicial branches, NOT the reverse.  This is appropriate because Congress is directly responsible to the source of all political power, We The People.  It is WE who need to demand that Congress do their damned jobs and straighten this mess out.

Who watches the watchmen themselves?  We The People, and don’t you forget it.  More importantly, don’t allow your elected representatives to forget it, as they clearly have.

Remind them.

Do it now.
